An explanatory note has been included for OEC QCERT clients who are granted certificate of conformity of product under any existing schemes and cannot use the symbol ONAC. Reference the sanctions and the policy document of the ONAC. OBJET This document aims to regulate the use of QCERT brand, bearing in mind the elements of design, dimensions, colors and the willingness of holders of certification schemes should give in use, either general publicity associated with the products, website, catalogs, etc. 2. SCOPE This document applies to all certifications under scheme type 5 (mark of conformity), in the QCERT certification body and it should indeed be circulated and adopted for the holders to give it the appropriate handling and usage. For the schemes type 1A and 1B it is optional the use of the brand. 3. REFERENCES Law 1480 of The Consumer Protection Statute. Legislative Decree 2269 of 1993, or regulations that replace, modify or add it. NTC-ISO/IEC 17000:2004 Conformity assessment - Vocabulary and general principles. NTC-ISO/IEC 17065:2013 Conformity assessment. Requirements for certification bodies of products process and services. NTC-ISO/IEC 17030:2004 Conformity assessment. General requirements for the conformity brans of third parties. 4. GLOSSARY For the understanding of this document the definitions laid down in the following rules apply: -NTC-ISO/IEC 17000:2004 Conformity assessment - Vocabulary and general principles. - NTC-ISO/IEC 17065:2013 Conformity assessment. Requirements for certification bodies of products process and services. -NTC-ISO/IEC 17030:2004 Conformity assessment. General requirements for the conformity brans of third parties. QCERT: Quality Certification. Conformity Assessment body, which resources come from private capital and the fulfilment and supply of product certification services.

Brand protected issued by a body that performs conformity assessment of third party which indicated that an object of the conformity assessment (product, process, person, system or body) comply with the specified requirements. QCERT Brand: Image used by the owner company or someone authorized for sale and / or marketing a product certified by QCERT to identify that meets the requirements according to the type of assessment made. Organization / Organizations: Legal or natural persons 5. RESPONSIBLE Staff of the QCERT certification body. Clients. In general all actors and people who seek their use and management. 6. USE RIGHTS People who obtain and / or renew their certification for products sheltered by the scope of QCERT, have the rights to use the QCERT brand and reference to the status of certified by QCERT, as maintain their accreditation in force, comply with the certification services agreement of products (FRG-02-05) and with the requirements of this document. QCERT will delivery on magnetic media its brand together with the present regulations during the execution of Conformity Assessment. It is not authorized under any circumstances the use of QCERT brand by the following: Non-certified organizations by QCERT. Organizations without a valid certification contract signed by QCERT. Organizations in process of certification. Organizations whose certificate is suspended, reduced or withdrawn.

BRAND DESIGN The graphic design of the brand QCERT is made up of a magnifying glass on the monogram Q, which means Quality and highlight the quality and the need to examine with detail, thoroughness and competence an issue. The magnifying glass encloses the name CERT, which is the abbreviation of Certification. The color use in the brand is red (pantone 485) and white (100%); the first one indicates strength, commitment and differences of the services it provides; with the second one, a connotation of versatility and equilibrium is related to the declaration of impartiality and independence. At the bottom of the monogram "Q", the text "CERTIFICATION BODY" is described in uppercase. The letters used in the brand are printed type in white color. The font used for the word "CERT" is Arial Rounded MT Bold and for the phrase "CERTIFICATION BODY" is Futura Medium Condensed. The style of the font used for the words RETIE and RETILAP is Mangal Bold. The style of the font used for the resolution, the certificate and the certificate number is MyriadPro Regular. The above is framed inside a red box defined in Pantone color scale as 485. The style of the font used for the resolution, the certificate and the certificate number is MyriadPro Regular. 8. USE OF THE TRADEMARK QCERT brand should be used according to the shape, size and color, as indicated in this document. In any case the Organization which intends to use the brand should take into account the conditions set out in the certification services agreement of products (FRG-02-05), the Product Certification Regulation (RG- 01) and the present document. The brand QCERT can be used in one or more of the following locations:

7 Page 7 de 9 In the product that is certified, with the brand name of the holder, so there is no place to confusion about the owner of the certification or the certified product and in any case it cannot be used with products that do not have certification. Advertising documents, web pages or any other element different from the the product itself as invoices, catalogs, etc. In two cases, you can use the brand as follows: Example 1: To see the scope of certification, access: Example 2:

8 Page 8 de 9 With this, it is intended that the brand QCERT is used in a way that who identify the trademark is able to recognize which products are under the certification scope, the benchmark and the number of certificate. 9. DIMENSIONAL FEATURES To ensure legibility of text in small formats, the logo cannot be reproduced at a smaller size than indicated below: 10. USE OF COLOUR The characteristics of the brand colors have already been defined above, however, it is also possible to use the logo of the brand with a background 100% black with white icons and text such as indicated in the following image:

9 Page 9 de TRADEMARK The brand does indeed confirm that the product is held has been entered in the register of QCERT. The brand QCERT shall be used by the client at the company advertising, in the labeling of the product or on the website, or any other advertising element. In case the brand cannot be reproduced on the product or advertising elements previously authorized such as price lists, web page or catalog, the company will delivery to the address certification an alternative proposal for the use of the brand which may be authorized or denied expressly. The brand can use for commercial purposes when it is necessary to demonstrate that the product meets the requirements set out in the corresponding standards and in documents that refer to the approved products. It will be necessary to proceed avoiding any confusion, according with the procedure set out in article 8 of this regulation. The contract singing between the client and QCERT named the certification services agreement of products (FRG-02-05) in the sixth clause reference to the provisions that has to be follow to use the brand QCERT and advertise it, in Clause seventh responsibilities and compensation. For the certification schemes type 1A and 1B, the client may use the brand if desired, as long as comply in all cases with the regulations wrote in this document. 12. RESTRICTION ON THE USE OF ONAC TRADEMARK The brand ONAC is for the exclusive use of Conformity Assessment Organizations (CAO) which obtain and renew their accreditation for the programs offered by ONAC, QCERT as a Conformity Assessment Organizations is accredited by the ONAC and its scope is included in the certification. QCERT for their condition as Conformity Assessment Organizations can use the symbol ONAC. Is not authorized in any course, the use of the accreditation symbol of the ONAC to organizations or individuals not accredited by the ONAC. QCERT Customers who mark of conformity awarded by a certificate of conformity under any of the certification schemes type 1a (samples), type 1b (batch) and type 5 (mark of conformity), cannot use the ONAC logo in any advertising or document. People who break these rules may face sanctions which may vary from penalties, fines and can include loss of certification.
