6 Systems and Methods to Improve Performance of TCP Over Large Bandwidth-Delay-Product Networks To solve the packet loss problem in existing Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) implementations over mobile data networks. The method can be implemented in a network node, e.g. a traffic accelerator, such that the existing TCP traffics can be optimized transparently Compatible with existing TCP implementations.
