3 1.0 Preface Wi-Fi solutions provided by Dialog offers wireless high speed Internet access with the added advantage of mobility. Free your work space from traditional communication constraints via customized solution designs with specific focus on hotels, offices and public spaces. If it is Wi-Fi, it has to be Dialog, Sri Lanka s largest Wi-Fi provider. This Design Report is prepared to facilitate Indoor/Outdoor Wi-Fi solution for Horizon Lanka, Mahawilachchiya. The document consists of floor plans with proposed Access Point locations, Antenna locations, equipment room location and cabling paths, etc. The proposed Wi-Fi design is focused on providing uninterrupted carrier graded Wi-Fi coverage, maximum throughput and ample capacity. Purpose of this design is to get access to internet through laptops, tabs & other user devices with minimum RSSI level of -70dBm(gurenteed threshold level) with a configurable maximum output power of-23 dbm. Assumptions/Requirements In order to meet the proposed service levels, Access Points should be installed according to the given proposal. The expected Wi-Fi coverage can not be provided if the Access Points are installed in hidden/inappropriate locations. Cabling will be underground or surface mounted (casings will be used) where no false ceilings are present. Customer should provide power to every equipment rack. Need to interconnect all switches through CAT 6 or fiber. Date Customer Signature....
