3 The AMC US24192 or US24192vt can accept any digital data stream, for example, USB, optical or S/PDIF digital outputs, and up-sample the information to 24- bit/192khz digital data stream. This data is applied to the input of a high resolution digital-to-analog converter (DAC), providing you with the equivalent sonic performance of an SACD/DVD Audio system. 5 1. AUDIO OUTPUT Connect the left and right channel unbalanced (RCA) audio outputs to any input on your pre-amplifier or receiver except "Phono" or Turn-table". Highquality interconnection cables are recommended. 2. S/PDIF DIGITAL INPUT It is for the connection to digital signal source via RCA jack. 3. OPTICAL INPUT It is for the connection to digital signal source via Toslink fiber optical jack. 4. USB INPUT It is for the connection to digital signal source via USB jack. The AMC US24192 or US24192vt has been designed to automatically select the input sources to be decoded and upsampled the digital signal to 24- bit/192khz data stream, and converted them to high quality sound with an excellent performance DAC. The USB input has the highest priority to be selected and decoded compared to S/PDIF digital input and OPTICAL input. The S/PDIF digital input or OPTICAL input is valid only at the absence of the USB input. 5. INPUT SWITCH It is designed to select Optical or S/PDIF digital input sources to the unit. The S/PDIF digital input or OPTICAL input is valid only at the absence of the USB input. 6. AC RECEPTACLE & FUSE The AC RECEPTACLE is for you to plug in with power cord attached in the packing or you can plug in with other power cord with your preferences. The fuse inside the receptacle is rated at T1A/250V. CAUTION: To avoid risk of damage and ensure normal operation, be sure to install the fuse with same rating when changed.
