1 Manual for Remanufacture of CF400A_201A_X Cartridge Destined for HP Color Laserjet Pro M 252_MFP 277 The cartridge has been remanufactured with the use of a new type of toner called "ColorSphere 3" and the new system "JetIntelligence". There is a protective cover of the drum in the cartridge. A special insert matched to the body and the carton has been used for safety during transport. A blade that distribute the toner powder (doctor blade) should be fixed with the use of a screwdriver with a left hand thread. 2 INTRODUCTION TONER ColorSphere 3 FIRM OUTER LAYER WAX POLYMER LOW MELTING POINT One of the factors degrading the properties of toners is constant friction of the particles during the life of the cartridge. System ColorSphere 3 is the result of a five-year HP investment program performed in collaboration with Canon. The new cartridge has a three - layered particle structure with a hard outer shell and a soft core with a much lower melting point than the "conventional" chemical toner which has a mono- spherical particle structure. The main benefit though is lower material costs in the manufacturing process.

3 The "JetIntelligence" includes: Print process monitoring technology Which uses intelligent algorithms to monitor printing process and predicts the cartridge life with more accuracy. Technology anti - fraud Which identifies counterfeit, remanufactured cartridges, prevents theft of the cartridge and can be used to enforce print policy. It is initiated by clients to manage costs and quality standards.
