4 Installing the adapter Important Plug the Powerline adapters directly into the wall power socket to reduce interferences. Push the Pairing button of the RED adapter for about a second. starts to blink in green. If it does not blink, please repeat this step. 1 sec. Push the Pairing button of the WHITE adapter for about a second. starts to blink in green. After a few seconds and light up. If it does not blink, repeat this step. 1 sec. You have successfully added the adapter to your Powerline network. 16

7 Important safety instructions It is important to read and understand the following safety instructions before operating the Powerline adapter. Do not exceed a 2250 Watt load on the adapter. The adapter should only be used in a dry place. Do not use the adapter in bathrooms. The adapter must not be opened by unqualified personnel. Do not try to repair the adapter yourself. You risk being electrocuted! Under no circumstances should the adapter come into contact with water or other liquids. Always use the supplied network cable to connect the adapter. Do not insert any objects into the openings of the adapter. To shut it off, unplug it from the socket. Do not expose the adapter to direct sunlight. Slots and openings on the housing are used for ventilation and must not be blocked or covered. The adapter must not be set up next to a radiator. The adapter should only be used in places where there is adequate ventilation. Before cleaning the housing, disconnect the adapter from the mains. Never use water, thinner, benzene, alcohol or other strong detergents to clean the adapter as this may damage the housing. Use only a slightly damp cloth. In the event of damage, disconnect the adapter from the mains.
