Digital microcontroller system A digital microcontroller operates the user controls and module functionality, and monitors battery life. Intelligent digital system monitors user controls, battery life, system operation and features functionality to provide realtime status and automatic shutoff functionality. Auxiliary audio input Input jack for external audio sources such as tablet computers, GPS and traffic warning systems. Customers can enjoy the flexibility of an external audio source while still benefiting from the noise reduction performance and comfortable fit of the headset. Male-to-male audio cable Provides the means to connect an external audio source to the headset. Simple in-box accessory for convenient use of external audio sources. Independent, recessed L/R volume controls with midrange detent and visual volume-level indicator Adjust the headset audio volume level for left and right channels. 8 Secondary audio mode selector Manages the different audio signals available to the headset (intercom, auxin) by either muting or mixing secondary audio sources. Allows user to decide how each audio source will be prioritized when multiple secondary audio sources are present. Automatic smart shutoff Detects that the headset is no longer being used and automatically shuts off power after a period of inactivity. Guards against draining of batteries when the headset is not in use. Features unique to flexible power variants (available in Bluetooth and conventional variants) Flexible power circuitry with auto-on Senses if the headset can use aircraft power or not.
