The MX6000 system optimizes cleaning cycles to achieve high supply conservation and consistent performance, eliminating the need for the additional expense of downstream cleaning supplies. The MX6000 system automatically detects installation of Datacard Certified Supplies and adjusts module settings to optimize the performance of the individual supply item. This helps prevent unnecessary card and supply waste caused by supply change adjustments. The MX6000 system automatically verifies the supplies for each card job. The system validates the correct color ribbons, cleaning tape and card protection supplies are installed for the upcoming job, which helps conserve inventory with less waste and improves operator productivity. Ribbons for the graphics printing module offer ribbon saver features that achieve significant yield savings, up to 25% yield gains over traditional thermal printing systems. Ribbons for the color printing module utilize single-color rolls (rather than the color panel set ribbon) to create full-color images. This helps achieve the highest ribbon savings for color images at a low cost-per-card, regardless of individual image size. 1
