The Metrologic Eclipse single-line, hand-held scanner provides a single solution to a variety of data capture applications, including menu scanning, point-of-sale, inventory and document processing. Both models decode the following: 1D, PDF417, PDF417 truncated, micro PDF, macro PDF and RSS-14 composite bar codes. In addition to automatic infrared activation for bar code detection, VoyagerPDF (model MS9544) also comes equipped with Metrologic s patented CodeGate technology which completes data transmission with the push of a single button. VoyagerPDF models come with a stand and in-stand auto-detection technology for presentation scanning. MS9524 MS9544 Equipped with Metrologic s patented CodeSense and CodeGate technology, Eclipse gives users more control than other hand-held scanners in targeting and decoding desired bar codes by automatically switching from a pulsing laser to a continuous beam upon detection. Data transmission is completed with the push of a single button. Using some of the same advanced technology found in the Voyager series, the Eclipse exhibits a longer and wider scan field than ordinary charged-coupled devices (CCD).
