5 1 Important Safety Information Please inspect DCCP-DPR LED Driver thoroughly after it is delivered. If any damage is seen, please notify the shipping company or our company immediately. 2 General Information This product is dedicated in LED indoor and outdoor lighting application condition, such as road lighting, landscape lighting and billboard lighting etc. It has the feature of high efficiency, high control accuracy, portable volume and fully waterproof design. The load control mode can be set freely. Wide input voltage range:dc9.5v DC33V, compatible with 12V/24V full voltage range Input surge suppression function. Effectively suppress peak surge current Digital high precision constant current control and the control accuracy are better than ± 2% Max. conversion efficiency is 95% Adjustable rated output current in the rated power and current range 1

6 Electronic protection: overheating, overload, input reversed polarity and load short circuit 3 timers output control or 2 exact timers output control, and the output parameters can be programmed at each timer The RS232 serial port (TTL) for connection via the open standard Modbus protocol Fully encapsulated design, IP67 protection 3 Installation Instructions 3.1 General Installation Notes Disconnect input power before installing or adjusting DCCP-DPR LED Driver. Confirm that power connections are tightened to avoid excessive heating from loose connection. Loose power connections and/or corroded wires may result in resistive connections that melt wire insulation, burn surrounding materials, or even cause fire. Ensure tight connections and use cable clamps to secure cables and prevent them from swaying in mobile applications. 2

7 3.2 Wiring Connect components to DCCP-DPR LED Driver in the sequence as shown in above picture and pay much attention to the + and -. 3

8 4 Setting Operation Two methods to program DCCP-DPR LED Driver: 1 PC monitoring setting software Solar Station Monitor (Use dedicated RS232(TTL) to USB communication cable with CC-USB-TTL-150U). Through the PC software, it can realize real-time monitoring, modification of load work parameter, inquiry of failure information etc. 2 Super Parameter Programmer SPP-01 (Use dedicated RS232(TTL) to RS232(TTL) communication cable with CC-TTL-TTL-150U). This method can realize one-key setting operation which is suitable for bulk quantity products setting in the projects. Note: After using, please be sure to plug the 4

9 waterproof communication interface plug. Otherwise the controller will be damaged when water is into it. Load Set 1. Remote Manual Control (Default ON). 2. Three Time Interval Control. 3. Clock Time Control. Note: Please refer to the user manual of SPP-01 and PC software for more details. 5

10 5 Protection, Troubleshooting 5.1 Protection Load Overload If the load current exceeds the rated output current of DCCP-DPR LED Driver( 1.05 times rated load current), DCCP-DPR LED Driver will disconnect the load. Once the overload occurs, the way to solve is to send a remote load switch command from PC software or reset DCCP-DPR LED Driver after reducing the load. Load Short Circuit Fully protected against load wiring short-circuit( 2 times rated output current). After one automatic load reconnect attempt, the fault must be cleared by restarting DCCP-DPR LED Driver or sending a remote load switch command from PC software. DC Input Reverse Polarity Fully protection against reverse polarity, no damage to DCCP-DPR LED Driver will result. Correct the miswire to resume normal operation. Over Temperature Protection If the temperature of DCCP-DPR LED Driver heat sink exceeds 85 C, DCCP-DPR LED Driver will automatically start the overheating 6

11 protection and disconnect the load. When the temperature is below 75ºC, DCCP-DPR LED Driver will resume to work. Note: DCCP-DPR LED Driver has daily automatic fault recovery function which will reduce the manual operation and can intelligently eliminate the fault caused by non-actual hardware failure. 5.2 Troubleshooting Faults Load abnormal shutdown Possible reasons Over load Short circuit Troubleshooting Remove or cut out the additional load and sending a remote load switch command, DCCP-DPR LED Driver will resume to work after 3s or restart the DCCP-DPR LED Driver. Clear short circuit and sending a remote load switch command, DCCP-DPR LED Driver will resume to work after 3s or restart the DCCP-DPR LED Driver. 7
