2 INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing this CLARKE 20V Cordless LED Lamp. Before attempting to use this product, please read this manual thoroughly and follow the instructions carefully. In doing so you will ensure the safety of yourself and that of others around you, and you can look forward to your purchase giving you long and satisfactory service. GUARANTEE This product is guaranteed against faulty manufacture for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt which will be required as proof of purchase. This guarantee is invalid if the product is found to have been abused or tampered with in any way, or not used for the purpose for which it was intended. Faulty goods should be returned to their place of purchase, no product can be returned to us without prior permission. This guarantee does not effect your statutory rights. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack. b. Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire. c. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire. d. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns. SERVICE a. 5 FITTING THE BATTERY PACK (NOT SUPPLIED) This lamp requires a Clarke 20V Lithium-ion battery pack ( ) and 1 Hour Charger ( ) to operate. Both are available separately from your local Clarke dealer. TO FIT THE BATTERY 1. Slide the battery pack onto the base of the lamp. TO REMOVE THE BATTERY 1. Press and hold the release buttons on the side of the battery pack. 2. Slide the battery pack away from the base of the handle. OPERATING THE LAMP 1. Press the on/off button to switch the lamp on at half power. 2. Press the on/off button again to select full power. 3. Press the on/off button a third time to switch the lamp off. CHANGE THE ANGLE OF THE LAMP 1. The lamp head can be rotated into the desired position by twisting. NOTE: Stop twisting when you encounter resistance, do not force the lamp head. 5
