2 The focus of the Abu Dhabi e-government Vision and Strategy is to enable government entities to provide integrated services designed to increase the interaction with its customers Abu Dhabi e-government Vision Abu Dhabi e-government Strategy Providing electronic connectivity between government entities to facilitate the exchange of government data through integrated electronic infrastructure Providing a common governmental platform that is safe, solid and scalable to enable government entities to provide integrated services Supplying customers of Abu Dhabi Government with additional channels to access all government services Developing competent manpower and building national capabilities to support the implementation of the e-government program Enabling government entities to deliver services more effectively by simplifying procedures and increasing coordination and harmonization among themselves Raising awareness of utilizing information technology among various segments of community
