9 Protecting Hawaii s Critical Infrastructure The Par Hawaii refinery in Kapolei, Oahu is the state s only operating refinery, producing approximately 115,000 barrels per day of petroleum products Par operates an integrated network of fuel-distribution assets, with 5.4 million barrels of storage and 27 miles of pipelines on the island of Oahu extending from the Kapolei refinery to terminals at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, Honolulu Harbor and military installations The company delivers fuel via barges from Kalaeloa Barbers Point Harbor to ports on Maui, Hawaii island, Kauai and Molokai Major supplier of military jet fuel and diesel to the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command Major supplier of commercial jet fuel to the Hawaii Fueling Facilities Corporation (commercial airline fuel consortium) Only producer of ultra-low sulfur diesel in Hawaii Only local producer of fuel oil for electric-utility power generation Only local producer of liquid asphalt Supplier of gasoline and ULSD to more than 90 Hele- and 76-branded stations across Hawaii, and a major wholesaler and bulk fuel provider in the Islands Supplier of marine fuels, including ship-to-ship bunkering and mothership refueling Cybersecurity isn t just one persons responsibility
