2 DEWETRON DEWETRON Ges.m.b.H. is your specialist in data acquisition and analysis with 25 subsidiaries worldwide and more than 200 employees. The speciality of DEWETRON measurement solutions is the synchronized data acquisition from different sources and sensors. Sensor errors, different bandwidths and signal runtimes are corrected and processed in real time using a Sync- Clock technology. The data streams are sorted in the real time database of DEWESoft and get their timestamps. This feature offers synchronized post analysis. This functionality is the base for highquality analysis and reporting of driveability and driving comfort. The DEWE-501 is the central data recorder for all sensors from GeneSys, Corrsys- Datron, and Kistler as well as analog signals, CAN-bus, GPS and video cameras. 2

Sensors for dynamic vehicle testing Whether distance, speed or slip angle measurement, whether checking ESP Systems, ABS control cycles or ESR controls: The road surface is always reference for the measurements and a part of the measurements is using the CORREVIT - Measuring Method but the structure of the road surface is used as measuring value. The measuring method is cleverly using the optical correlation of the surface structure in real time and with light velocity. This is a multiple faster than any camera with coupled processor. The sensor electronics takes the optical generated distance and speed signal. This signal will then be processed to standardized output signals. 5

TÜV SÜD Automotive offers vehicle -and tire manufacturers a tire rolling resistance measurement service for cars according to actual regulations as set out in ISO or in excess of rolling resistance measurement according to relevant standards, with our product Rolling Resistance plus we are also offering the analysis of the tire running resistances during the vehicle is running. Supplier Management Tires The aim of the supplier management system offered as a service by TÜV SÜD Automotive is to relieve the OEM s of the routine tasks associated with development. The service covers objective tire tests and overall project management, including documentation and identification of any necessary improvements. Tire Benchmark Europe s largest non-affiliated tire technology centre offers a wide range of facilities for evaluating the properties of tires. One of the services offered by TÜV SÜD Automotive is a set of tests on tires, comparing them with rival products according to criteria specified by the individual customer. This includes tests in various precisely reproducible conditions, such as rain, snow and ice. CAPS-ACC Driver Assistance System Evaluation Our evaluation methods ensure maximum safety and performance. 14 GeneSys Elektronik GmbH In the automotive industry, the gyroscopic measurement technology by GeneSys has proved to be an effective and versatile tool for dynamic testing of vehicles all over the world. The development of our gyroscopic measurement systems with GPS for dynamic testing of vehicles is carried out in close cooperation with our automobile partners, such as TÜV SÜD Automotive. This enables us to perfectly adapt our gyroscopic measurement systems to the needs and requirements of the developers and service providers of the automotive industry. Our measurement systems offer a high degree of data quality and sturdiness; they are reliable and adaptad to the application which results in easy handling. We produce standardised navigation systems and dynamic angle measurement systems that operate with the gyro technology and GPS. We provide continuous development taking into account our customers experience and suggestions. Our gyroscopic measurement systems are used all over the world in the automotive industry for dynamic testing of vehicles. In addition, they are utilised for motion detection in the medical field, for railway vehicles, for antenna stabilization on ships and also as precision compasses for controlling tunneling machines. The gyroscopic measurement system ADMA (Automotive Dynamic Motion Analyzer) was developed for automotive applications, especially for dynamic testing of vehicles.
