3 Giancarlo Gobbi, ASME Liaison for Business Development (Europe & Middle East) Over 43 yrs. of Quality Assurance activities as Director QA within the FOMAS GROUP in the field of the manufacturing of forgings and rolled rings for various industrial applications: oil & gas, power generation, from nuclear to wind power, aerospace, automotive, etc. Longtime ASME volunteer within Section III, V, VIII, IX, & CA committees. January 2017 Independent Consultant acting as ASME Liaison in Europe & Middle East promoting ASME standards and their associated product & personnel certification programs. Industry Subject Matter Experts - Presenters Umberto Minopoli, President of the Italian Nuclear Association (AIN). In the last years, Mr. Minopoli served as Chair of Ansaldo Nucleare and Sviluppo Campania S.p.A. He has extensive experience in the nuclear energy issues and during his career was Head of Minister's Technical Secretariat at Ministry of Economic Development and Ministry of Transport. Roberto Adinolfi, Chief Executive Officer ANSALDO Nucleare SpA - 42 years of nuclear power plant experience from design, plant control, and system integration. Various supervisory roles included Advanced Reactors design and development, sector lead conventional power plants ranging from operations to director of engineering, erection, and commissioning. Member of the Board of AIN, and member of UNI. Sits on Governing Board of European Sustainable Nuclear Energy Technology Platform.

Edward Martin, Quality Services Manager - Sargent & Lundy - 50 years of electric industry experience. Extensive nuclear power plant experience from construction to operations to decommissioning. Various Quality roles at Exelon Nuclear from 1967 to Joined Sargent & Lundy in Quality Manager for a number of D&D projects. Dr. Dirk Kölbl, Authorized Nuclear Inspector Supervisor, Over 24 years as an Inspector, AI, ANI, AIS and ANIS within the ASME Certification / Accreditation Scheme. Manages ASME Code activities for ASME accredited AIA TÜV Thüringen e.v. and has been contributing to the preparation of Nuclear ASME Certification of many companies in Europe, including Italy.

5 Industry Subject Matter Experts - Presenters Marco Utili, Head Nuclear Material Characterization Laboratory Experimental Engineering Division ENEA FSN-ING-QMN, 8 years as a researcher with ENEA. His research field regards nuclear materials, transport of tritium in Fusion and GIV Fission reactors, Tritium extraction system, corrosion of steels in liquid metals and vacuum applications. Moreover since 2007 he is in charge of several experimental facilities related liquid metal and gas technologies.
