3 Docu Performer WHAT'S NEW IN VERSION INTRODUCTION We re glad to present you our new release version 5.0! It includes several improvements and troubleshooting, which enable an even more efficient usage of the Docu Performer software in your daily business. One of our new highlights includes the analysis function Data Lineage, as well as comprehensive refactoring of scenarios. Additionally, with Version 5.0, the Docu Perfomer takes another step towards the support of HANA. 4 Docu Performer WHAT'S NEW IN VERSION DOCUMENTATION Supporting further Characteristics of ABAP CDS The chapters Parameter, Associations, Annotations of Fields and Parameters are now added to the documentation of ABAP CDS. Fields and Parameters in a Documentation are displayed in Camel Case.

5 Docu Performer WHAT'S NEW IN VERSION DOCUMENTATION Documentation of AMDPs in Transformations AMDP Coding in transformations is now integrated into the Word documentation. 6 Docu Performer WHAT'S NEUERUNGEN NEW IN IN VERSION COMMENTING Rework of Scenarios Following aspects of Scenarios have been implemented or improved: Enhancements in user interface and general handling Scenario structuring in folders Cross-system import of BW, BO and HANA object types Integration of Word documents 2 3 Scenarios can be organized and maintained in folders. The center column contains those scenarios located in folders. In the right column the assigned objects are displayed. 2 3

7 Docu Performer NEUERUNGEN IN VERSION DATA LINEAGE New Analysis Functions Data Lineage is a new, licensable analysis function. Using this feature, shows the mapping of all included InfoObjects and fields of HANA Repository Views, BW InfoProvider or CDS Data Definitions up to DataSource. 2 The Data Lineage option can be found in the context menu of an object if the function has been licensed. The example shows a segment of a mapping containing all InfoObjects of an InfoProvider. Currently the mapping of DDIC View is not supported. The analysis will stop at this point. Moreover, system changes aren t available for the Data Lineage analysis. 2

8 Docu Performer WHAT'S NEW IN VERSION MODELING Adding and Deleting of InfoObjects in ADSOs Using the latest version of the Docu Performer, InfoObjects within ADSOs can be added or deleted. Via drag and drop InfoObjects can be insert from the entity pool to the ADSO.

9 Docu Performer WHAT'S NEW IN VERSION BUSINESS OBJECTS New Components of WebI Reports The documentation of WebI Reports has been extended with Geo Choropleth, Geo Bubble and Geo Pie as additional components.

10 Docu Performer WHAT'S NEW IN VERSION BUSINESS OBJECTS Documentation of Formatted Text View of Design Studio Reports Content of Formatted Text View of Design Studio Reports is integrated into the documentation. The example documentation on the left shows how the Docu Performer displays the content of Formatted Text View from Design Studio. Objective This test report serves as an example of the Design Studio Documentation and is based on two Queries from the BI2 system Technical Aspects The report analyzes outstanding orders in schedule lines based on calendar day, material and supplier. Open quantities (in base units) and outstanding values (in local currency) are evaluated as well as an explicit assignment of backlog schedule lines within a day seven days 30 days greater than 30 days The initial status of this query aggregates across all schedule lines in the selected time period (period variable in calendar days from/to relating to the characteristic Calendar Day (0CALDAY)). Characteristics in drill down are material and supplier.

11 Docu Performer WHAT'S NEUERUNGEN NEW IN IN VERSION 5.0 FUNCTION MODULES For further information visit our blog: Installation of function modules Adjusted Creation and Update of Function Modules The process of creating and updating function module components has been modified to be more userfriendly When creating customer specific function modules an authorization check is conducted as usual. Afterwards a wizard guides the user through the whole process of creating and updating function modules. Using the wizard, it is possible to choose an already existing or a currently entered prefix. The customer specific function modules might have to be updated or newly created if necessary. Here again the wizard automates the process. 3
