7 1 Introduction 1.1 Purpose This document provides a detailed overview of the architecture and design decisions used during the creation of the AGM Adobe Creative Cloud Suite installer packages. 1.2 Scope The scope of this document is limited to the AGM Adobe Creative Cloud Suite packages for the following Operating Systems: AGM Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 baseline (x86 and x64) AGM Windows 8 Enterprise SP1 baseline (x86 and x64) 2 Overview 2.1 Included Files The AGM Adobe Creative Cloud Suite includes the following install bundle files that are compiled each into a setup executable: Adobe_CC_Design_Tools_x86.exe Adobe_CC_Design_Tools_x64.exe Adobe_CC_Digital_Imaging_x86.exe Adobe_CC_Digital_Imaging_x64.exe Adobe_CC_Video_Tools_x86.exe Adobe_CC_Video_Tools_x64.exe Adobe_CC_Web_Tools_x86_Part_1.exe Adobe_CC_Web_Tools_x64_Part_1.exe Adobe_CC_Web_Tools_x86_Part_2.exe Adobe_CC_Web_Tools_x64_Part_2.exe Adobe_CC_Supplemental_x86.exe Adobe_CC_Supplemental_x64.exe Adobe_CC_Media_Authoring_x64.exe The files in each setup executable are un-packed into a temporary directory on the computer during the install process. The AGM Adobe Creative Cloud Suite packages are designed to contain the individual components in each bundle required to complete the install of the product. Please see the following flowcharts for detailed application logic. (Figure 1) 5

12 4 Known Issues 4.1 Current Issues Adobe After Effects application may warn The program requires QuickTime to be installed for all features to work. QuickTime is not installed as part of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. The following applications may have the option to update the application from a menu option or attempt to update on their own, this option will not work for nonadministrators and should not be performed; Adobe Extension Manager, Bridge CS6, Flash Player Updates, Adobe AIR, Edge Reflow, Edge Code. Other known issues will be documented and communicated to the field via FAQs, an AKO Notice, TTPs, etc. The size of the installation package (~13GB) limits the number of methods Army organizations can use to deploy the Adobe CC products. 6
