7 We want to thank all of the providers who continue to submit their Re-Credentialing applications in early or according to the timeline. There continues to be an increase in the applications coming in early and ahead of schedule. Thank you!
8 If your Re-Credentialing application is not submitted in a timely manner or due to errors or missing information in which you receive an Unable to Process Letter you may have a gap in your credentialing. If you have a gap you will not be able to receive payment from Eastpointe.

12 The Eastpointe Provider Network is currently closed. Except for sites/services in which Eastpointe determines a current service need. This is effective for Medicaid and State Services. We are not adding agencies or contracts for Licensed Independent Practitioners who have their own practice. We are not currently adding new state contracts.
13 We are accepting applications for the following service needs: Psychiatrist in private practice who provide Medicaid services. Hospitals Licensed Practitioner applications from agencies who need to add an Outpatient Therapist as a rendering. Agencies may submit a request to add a site to provide Outpatient Services. Agencies may submit a request to Subcontract to add a Therapeutic Foster Home or Unlicensed AFL only if an Eastpointe member will be placed in the home.
14 If we determine that there is a gap or need in our network we will post a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a Request for Information (RFI) on our website and send out an announcement on Listserve.

26 North Carolina Interventions (NCI) -Mark Lloyd
27 Effective July 1, 2017 Alternatives to NCI A provider needed to choose from the list of approved curricula on DMH/DD/SAS website or develop their own curriculum and submit it to DMH/DD/SAS for approval.
28 Requirements With the release of NCI into the public domain, providers currently using NCI will need to select another curriculum as an alternative to NCI to train their staff in the use of prevention and restrictive intervention techniques. Providers that are currently using NCI should notify the LME-MCOs of the change to a new curriculum.

30 Approved Curricula: Below is the link to the approved curricula that can be chosen to replace NCI. After clicking on the link, scroll down until you see By Program Name; that s where the list of approved curricula are located.

33 In order to ensure continuity and coordination of care for members discharging from 24-hour facilities to include inpatient The expectation is that the member will be seen within 7 calendar days of discharge. With a billable service to assist with maintaining the members recovery efforts.
34 The follow up within 7 calendar days must be a billable service. If your agency requires that paperwork is completed before a billable service you must ensure that the billable service still occurs within the 7 calendar days of discharge. If you have any questions about this it is very important that you contact Network Operations.

36 The following information is required to be listed for each site. If you are not than you are out of compliance: After Hours Crisis Number Counties That You Serve STR information if you provide Assessments Culturally Diverse Populations that You Feel Competent to Serve Languages (are able to communicate in fluently) Hours of Operation Payor Sources Accepted Treating Disability Types Specialty Services Demographic information for each site to include current phone number, address, fax number and Primary Contact Person
37 All providers must have an After Hours Crisis Phone number listed for each site except: Hospitals Residential facilities Psychosocial Rehabilitation ED Groups PRTF s
38 The information on the Provider Directory is pulled from Alpha. Please make sure to review each site to determine that the information is accurate and up to date. Thank you to all providers who have reviewed this information.

40 All Hospitals who have a contract with Eastpointe. All Agencies who have a contract with Eastpointe. All Licensed Independent Practitioners (LIP s) who have their own contract with Eastpointe. All LIP s who work for agencies and their rendering number is used to bill the services they provide. This includes all LIP s who provide Outpatient Services as defined in Clinical Coverage Policy 8C.
41 If you do not know what your Credentialing end date is please contact Network Operations at (888) or pointe.net and they will be glad to assist you. If you need to know the Credentialing end date for a Rendering Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP) who is employed by your agency, the Rendering LIP must be the one to call Network Operations to request this information.
42 If an agency wants to request the Credentialing or Re- Credentialing status of an LIP who works for them they must submit a Release of Information to networkoperations@eastpointe.net that includes all of the following: LIP s Name Date of Birth Last four numbers of their social security number Signature of the LIP
43 The only information that will be released from Eastpointe to the agency is the following: If the application has not been received If Eastpointe has requested follow up information from the LIP once and it has not been received If Eastpointe has requested follow up information from the LIP multiple times and it has not been received. If the LIP is not a credentialed provider in our network
44 If your Credentialing will expire in October of 2018 then your complete application packet should have been submitted by August 1, If your Credentialing will expire in November of 2018 then your complete Re-Credentialing packet should have been submitted by August 15, 2018.
45 If your Credentialing will expire in December of 2018 then your complete Re-Credentialing packet should be submitted by the following: If your agency or hospital name starts with A-F or if you are an LIP with your own contract and your last name starts with A-F then your complete application should have been submitted by September 1, If your agency/hospital name starts with G-P or if you are an LIP with your own contract and your last name starts with G-P then your complete application should have been submitted by September 15, If your agency/hospital name starts with Q-Z or if you are an LIP with your own contract and your last name starts with Q-Z then you should have submitted your complete application by October 1, 2018.
46 If your Credentialing will expire between today and December 31, 2018 and you have not submitted your Re-Credentialing application you are outside of the time frames and may have a gap in your Credentialing. You will need to submit your complete application to Network Operations via networkoperations@eastpointe.net immediately.

48 For January 2019 Expirations: If your agency or hospital name starts with A-M or if you are an LIP with your own contract and your last name starts with A-M then should have submitted your complete application by October 15, The same should be utilized for Rendering LIP s whose Credentialing will expire in January If your agency or hospital name starts with N-Z or if you are an LIP with your own contract and your last name starts with N-Z then you need to submit your complete application by October 25, The same should be utilized for Rendering LIP s whose Credentialing will expire in January 2019.
49 If your Credentialing will expire between today and January 31, 2019 and you have not submitted your Re-Credentialing application you are outside of the time frames and may have a gap in your Credentialing. You will need to submit your complete application to Network Operations via networkoperations@eastpointe.net immediately.
