1 Emoji Party Required: It s a great idea to keep your program fresh and current. Create events that celebrate the hottest trends. Everyone knows and loves emojis! The kids are sure to enjoy a day filled with these yellow round emotions. Quick Ideas: Paper Emojis- There are hundreds of emojis! The resources provided are focused on the emotion faces. Choose a creative teacher to replicate an emoji out of construction paper. Kids make it in the creation station. For example a monkey with his ears covered, a slice of pizza, a princess, a dog, etc. Emoji Face Paints- Draw or print a few emojis on a sheet of paper for staff to use as a reference. At the party each child can choose an emoji and get it painted on their cheek. Clay Emoji Necklace Use a cookie cutter to create yellow clay circles. Use a toothpick to poke two holes in the top. Kids choose an emotion and use sharpies to draw the face on the clay circle. Kids string a piece of lanyard through the holes. Kids add beads and tie to create a necklace. Let the clay air dry at home then wear! Emoji Play Dough Play- Purchase emoji cookie cutters (Pampered Chef sells a set). Make your favorite play dough with children s help. 3 Emoji Bowling 6 Empty and washed water bottles Yellow construction paper Sharpies Scissors Sand Other color construction paper Double sided tape Ball Draw six emoji faces and cut them out Fill each bottle halfway full of sand Cut six pieces of construction paper to roll around each bottle Double sided tape a paper to the outside of each bottle Write a number value on each bottle Double sided tape an emoji head on each bottle Stand the emoji pins up Roll or toss the ball at the pins The first child to get a total of 50 points wins

6 School Age- Emoji Pom Pom Pals Yellow yarn Paper tubes Scissors Stiff felt Tacky glue Gather supplies Wrap yarn around two paper tubes until the yarn is very thick Cut a piece of yarn that is about eight inches Place the yarn around the rolled up yarn and tie (see image) Remove the two cardboard tubes from the middle Tie a double knot to secure the 8 inch piece Cut the round edges of the yarn Use the scissors to trim it until it becomes a nice ball shape Cut emoji face shapes out of the stiff felt and tacky glue on

11 Emoji Slime 8 oz. bottle clear school glue 1 Cup liquid starch Yellow washable paint Sharpies Small zilpoc bags Large bowl Measuring cup Large Spoon Gather ingredients Pour the bottle of clear glue into the bowl Measure 1 cup of liquid starch and pour into the bowl Add a small amount of yellow paint Mix Let sit for 5 minutes While the slime sits make a zilpoc bag emoji Use the sharpies to draw an emoji face on the middle of the Ziploc bag Place a piece of slime in the bag to take home!

Play emoji balloon tennis. Tape jumbo craft sticks to the back of paper plates to use as the paddles. Play emoji balloon relay races. Hold the emoji between your knees and hop to the other side without dropping it. Play emoji balloon foot volleyball. Get on your hands and knees like a crab and use your feet to keep the balloon up. Play emoji balloons and pool noodles. Use pool noodles to bat the balloons into a basket.
