We ll ensure your letters and parcels reach your loved ones wherever they are this Christmas. Simply follow the steps in this guide to get your Seasons Greetings delivered on time and in one piece. 3 2 Check out our Christmas mailing services 3 Choosing the right service for your special items We ll be doing our very best to get all your Christmas post to you as soon as we can. To help us achieve this, we ll be offering you more services over the festive period: Extra deliveries In the week leading up to Christmas, we ll be delivering in the evenings and on Sunday 19th, Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd December. Later opening hours If you re out when we try to deliver, we ve made it easier for you to collect your post from your local Enquiry Office, which will be open later from 13th December. The opening hours will be on your Sorry you were out card. More redelivery options Occasionally we are unable to deliver an item to you because nobody is available to sign for it, or it is too large to be posted through your letterbox. Now you can arrange redelivery quickly and conveniently online, either to your own address, to your local Post Office branch or to another address in your same postcode area **. Make sure your items are packaged securely A few tips for safe packaging: use strong padded envelopes for sharp edges or odd shapes label fragile items with a sticker fill out containers with bubble-wrap or polystyrene chips (available from most Post Office branches.) write a return address on the item put a contact name, address and telephone number inside.
