2 Access to the Secure Central Registry The Secure Central Registry (SCR) can be accessed at: Getmipd.com February 15, 2014 you will see changes to the login, catalog, and sponsor listing. Please take note - We are changing the way you log into the SCR. 2
3 Logging In Logging into your account: Click on Been Here Before? or if you are setting up your first account select New To This Site? Starting February 15, 2014, the first time you log into your existing SCR account, you will log in with your address, then be asked to create a User Name. you will be required to have a User Name in place of your address as your login. After that first login, the User Name you added replaces your Address as your login. 3
4 Please take note We are changing the way you log into the SCR. Starting February 15, 2014, the User Name will replace your Address as your login. The User Name and Password will be selected by you, but are to be set up with the same criteria as your MOECS login and password (see next page). We strongly suggest you use your MOECS login and password as your new SCR login and password for ease of remembering it. (See page #11 for directions to change your password.) 4
5 User Name Login You are not required to use your MOECS Login/Password if you do not wish to, but we suggest using it to make both easier to remember. Both MOECS and your new SCR login User Name must be eight (8) characters long, is not case sensitive but should be a mixture of upper case letters, lower case letters, and may include numbers. Once your User Name has been accepted, if you try to log in with your address you will get an error message in red at the top of your screen. 5
6 The system includes Forget Your Password? and Forget Your UserName? options on the log in page if you forget them. 6
7 Setting up a new account Click on the Create Account if you have never set up an account in the Secure Central Registry (SCR). Please fill in all information on the User Account Creation screen that follows. 7
8 User Account Creation Fill in all fields. Error messages will pop up at the top of the page in red if a field hasn t been filled in, or filled in incorrectly. 8
9 When you have successfully registered, you will get the message stating the Login and Password have been accepted. The rest of the system will look very similar to the SCR upgrades that went live in October
10 Personal Information There fields for you to fill in: Alternate You may list a secondary ONLY for notifications. The 2 nd is only used to make sure you receive the evaluation notice. Receive Notifications at: you can choose to receive notifications at the Primary , Alternate , or Both Security Question: Choose one of the security questions to help us keep your account information more secure. Security Answer: Answer to the security question (not case sensitive) Certification Expiration Date: this will allow the SCR to just list the credit available for your current renewal period Issue date to Expiration date. Save and Continue 10 to proceed into the SCR
11 If you wish to change your Password, select Select Change Password Fill in your new password (preferably your MOECS password). Password Nine (9) characters long, is case sensitive and should be a mixture of upper case letters, lower case letters, and may include numbers Select Save 11
12 Evaluations After logging into your account, select Evaluations / Access Evaluations Due from the top menu to check on any evaluations you may have not completed. Evaluations must be completed within 30 days after the participants are uploaded into the system. To access any Evaluations Due, select You can Filter By: specific dates, or all incomplete evaluations will be listed by leaving the dates blank. Show Records: Recent limits evaluations only to those not completed within the last 30 days. All shows all not completed. 12
13 Payments Individuals now have the option to complete several evaluations, then pay for them all together. Select from the top menu, then Payments Due to see a list of items you still need to pay for. Credit will not be awarded for evaluations completed until payment is received. 13 Payment vouchers are also accessible to print at anytime for your records.
14 Unofficial Transcript Your unofficial transcript will follow your Personal Information page after you log into the SCR. This page will show all the programs you have participated in that offered SB-CEUs and the new State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs) If a program is not listed: Click on Show ALL at list bottom Contact the Sponsor of the program, Check on any Evaluations pending by clicking on Evaluations in the top menu. 14
15 Official Transcript To view your Official transcript, select from the top menu. You may purchase an Official Transcript for a charge of $20 through this menu item. Official transcripts are not required for educator certification renewals. 15
16 New Catalog & Sponsor Features To view the approved program catalog or the list of approved sponsors, select Search for approved SCECH programs on the first page or Catalog or Sponsor on the menu bar. 16
17 17 Catalog To access the catalog of approved programs, select Catalog on the menu bar. You now have the ability to search by a keyword, program name, a date range, number of SCECHs or category.
18 Catalog After putting in your search criteria, it may take a minute, but the program list will appear. Each program offering will be listed in order of Category and contain: Program name Format Location Program contact Participant fee How many SCECHs it offers Any technical/prerequisite requirements, Session/offering dates. 18 All the items that are underlined have pop-up screens with additional information.

24 By clicking on the Sponsor name you will receive a complete list of their programs. Click on a specific program listing (Course Name) and you ll see more information about that program. 24

If you encounter problems with the SCR, please contact the help desk at (517) or If you have questions about a specific program, please contact the Sponsor of that program.
