3 Core Server for AIBO TV TM Model TI-CS200 TI-CS100 is a core server of the AIBO OTT IPTV system, which controls all information exchange between each subsystem. TI-CS100 is based on Linux operating system and it comes with a high performance and a superior reliability TI-CS100 manages a central database and plays an important role as conductor. It receives all service requests from Media Server TI-MS200, Edge Server TI-CS200 and client devices, and then reply to them immediately. System communication is based on HTTP protocol; and thus it can be deployed quickly in an existing network without changing firewalls and routers. One TI-CS200 can serve many Media Server TI-MS200 and Edge Server TI-ES200 in an AIBO TV TM system. For instance, one can deploy one TI-CS200 in a main headend and many Edge Servers TI-ES200 in different remote sites to boost service quality. One TI-CS200 supports up to 20,000 subscribers by adding more Media Servers TI-MS200 or Edge Servers TI-ES200 according to subscriber scale. 5 Media Server for AIBO TV TM Model TI-MS200 Telelynx introduces an end-to-end OTT IPTV solution. TI-MS200 provides the state-of-the-art IPTV features such as Live-TV, VoD and Catch-Up (Time-shift) applications. TI-MS200 can import, encrypt and store media contents from transport stream over UDP or MPEG file. When the video content is being imported to system meanwhile it will be encrypted by built-in TeleDRM TM schema. Thus the video content will be protected properly in network transmission. All video contents will be saved to media server storage area and serve to Edge server TI-ES200. TI-MS200 owns high capacity storage volume and provides up to 750 videos for different client devices. 7 Edge Server for AIBO TV TM Model TI-ES200 Telelynx introduces an end-to-end OTT IPTV solution which is named AIBO TV TM. TI-ES200 is an important server for saving server bandwidth in AIBO TM TV. TI-ES200 retrieves the transport stream from Media Server TI-MS200 and cache a copy to its memory and disk for IPTV STB download streaming later. You can deploy multiple edge servers in different ISP, Hotel, Campus, MDU(Multi-Dwelling Unit) and Cloud for distributing network traffic and reduce the single point failover risk. The transmission technique of transport stream in AIBO TV TM is based on HLS (HTTP Live Streaming). HLS can support multi-screen devices according bandwidth and screen resolution.
