3 Wonderware Finland Alarm Archiver Object 1 Introduction Alarm Archiver Object provides functionality to transfer alarms from intermediate storage (30 days) database to final long-term storage.

4 Wonderware Finland Alarm Archiver Object 2 Installing the Alarm Archiver Object Hardware requirements The Alarm Archiver Object Alarm Archiver Object has the same hardware requirements as Wonderware Application Server (WAS). It is strongly recommended to have computer with 2 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor, 32/64-bit. A multi-core processor is strongly recommended. The Intel Itanium 2 processor is not supported. Software requirements Alarm Archiver Object requires following software: Wonderware Application Server (WAS) 3.1 SP2 or later and InTouch 10.1 SP2 or later installed.

9 Wonderware Finland Alarm Archiver Object 7 Object upgrade procedure 1) Open ArchestrA IDE and import new version of Alarm Archiver Object. Note: Following Import Preferences are recommended for Alarm Archiver Object new version installation into WAS galaxy. 2) Object state is changed to Require software update. 3) Deploy object host platform to install software update. 4) Redeploy (undeploy and deploy) objects host engine (to update object runtime to latest version). 5) Restart ArchestrA IDE (to reload object Editor). 6) Check upgraded object configuration version go to object editor and open about tab: 7) Check Alarm Archiver Object runtime version by reading RuntimeVersion attribute value: If configtime and runtime version numbers are equal and version numbers are correct versions (latest) the object import was successful.
