11 System Errata 4 System Errata The section below describes the known system errata for SW3.3 compared to the current SPP-AT specification. 4.1 RFCOMM TS07.10 flow control doesn t work Precondition eunistone connects to a device which supports only RFCOMM TS07.10 flow control. Certain Android 4.3 devices have this configuration. Erratum No data can be transmitted to this device. Workaround Use devices with RFCOMM credit based flow control. 4.2 Connection setup timing Precondition After an incoming connection request (+RCOI), the local host very quickly accepts (AT+JACR=1) The remote device sends a data packet immediately after the BT connection was established, when the SPP profile set up is not complete yet. The local controller receives this data packet (+RDAI) before the local SPP stack is ready (+RCCRCNF) Erratum The local stack never sends the SPP channel connected indication (+RCCRCNF). The connection fails. Workaround On the local host, after the Connection Indication (+RCOI), insert a delay before the accept connection (AT+JACR=1). Release Note 11 Revision 1.1,

Table 2 Solved Errata System Errata SW3.1 SW3.2 SW3.3 TX data loss in stream EEPROM corruption Sniff before SPP EPC max min The table above lists the solved errata s in different versions. 5.1 TX Data Loss in Stream Mode with Escape Character ^ Precondition The device is transmitting data in stream mode. The host is transmitting data much faster than it can be delivered over the air. This can be due to limitations on the receiver or due to deteriorations of the radio link. The data contains the escape character ^ (transmitted as ASCII code 0x5E). Erratum In rare cases, some bytes following the escape character can be lost. 5.2 EEPROM corruption Precondition After a write error to the primary partition in the EEPROM the BD-data will be lost. Power loss when writing to EEPROM may cause a write error. Erratum EEPROM back-up partition handling error 5.3 Sniff before SPP Precondition A link is established to another device or another device is connecting and sniff is enabled by the remote device before a Serial Port Profile (SPP) channel is fully established. Erratum eunistone will report ERR=-3 and enters an unknown state. Release Note 12 Revision 1.1,
