1 JUKEBOX by Deezer is a digital jukebox for tablets offering guests of the bar the opportunity to choose their music and program it into the hotel's music playlist. WHY? 2 From the tablet, guests at the bar have access to the rich music catalogue of Deezer, one of the two leader websites for listening to music on demand. Guests only need to choose the song they like in 3 easy steps and add it to the hotel s playlist. 3 HOW TO USE THE JUKEBOX BY DEEZER? ON/OFF BUTTON Press once to lock/unlock the screen. Hold down the button to shutt down the tablet. 6 LANGUAGES INFORMATION PAGE TO GUIDE GUESTS THE TABLET IS RESERVED SOLELY FOR USING THE JUKEBOX Guests and staff cannot quit the Jukebox interface. An administrator access code will be needed for all technical interventions. ATTACHED MODE In jukebox mode, the tablet is firmly attached to its stand on the bar and is free for anyone to use. HOW TO OFFER THE JUKEBOX TO GUESTS? FREE MODE For a more personalized relationship with our guest & to liven up the bar area, the tablet is removed from its stand by a member of staff and can be moved freely to a guests' table. The staff is really proactive & offers the Jukebox into the order Process at the Bar or even better at the guests table to : - enrich interaction between them and the guests - improve the waiting time for orders - dissuade guests from adding multiple tracks - ensure that the tablet is secure - explain how the Jukebox works if the guests have any problem - lengthen the time spent and consequently increase the consumption at the bar

5 HOTEL S EQUIPMENT REQUIRED CONFIGURATION REQUIRED SOUND SYSTEM IN BACK OFFICE CONFIGURATION REQUIRED JUKEBOX IN FRONT OFFICE A VOLUME AMPLIFIER 100V switching mixing amplifier, 200W power, 8 ohm output, 40-25k HZ frequency and rackable. All existing sound systems should already have an amplifier, which is essential for music broadcasting in the hotel. If the case of you would like to replace or improve your amplifier, a new one can be provided (available in addition as an option). SPEAKERS WITH VOLUME CONTROL A WI-FI AND A WIRED INTERNET CONNECTION OF 4MB MINIMUM Internet service providers must put QoS in place, i.e. bandwidth reservation for the tablet and for the player, in such a way that the 2 Mbps needed by each device to work properly are guaranteed. The Jukebox provider will handle the QoS set up with your internet provider directly. The full sound system equipment (player, amplifier an router) must be placed in the lobby area, according to those followings requirements: t-he dedicated router must be connected to the hotel s internet terminal with a RJ45 ethernet cable - the player must be connected to the router with a RJ45 ethernet cable - the amplifier must be placed alongside the player. Should this not be possible, a cabling operation will be necessary. This can be handled by the provider as an additional option. FOR OPTIMUM USE, WE RECOMMEND: placing the amplifier and the player close to the bar, or behind the reception desk to allow the volume to be easily adjusted by the hotel staff. audio cabling by zone, in order to independently control the volume level in each communal area and to create different moods. The tablet stand must be placed on the counter of your bar. We recommend placing it close to the cash register for greater visibility. The anti-theft cable must be attached to the underside of the bar. When taking an order at a table, a member of staff can release the tablet from its stand and offer it directly at the guest's table. A4 POS material must be positioned alongside the tablet to improve the product's visibility. A5 material can be placed on the bar tables to improve the product's visibility.

6 ARCHITECTURE THE SOUND SOLUTION IS COMPOSED OF FOUR DISTINCT PARTS: A tablet (T1) PC (PC1) A monitoring server (S1) A media distribution platform (M1) The tablet (T1) is used to control and play the jukebox. It needs to get Internet access with a dedicated bandwidth of 2 Mbps. It will allow the jukebox to work without any latency. - The tablet network is exploiting a Wi-Fi terminal. - The PC (PC1) is operated to stream music from the media distribution platform, hosted by Deezer. Prioritized bandwidth of 2 Mbps is also necessary. - These two devices are sensitive, do not expose them into the guest network (that will not work well). LAN or dedicated VLAN is required. - Prioritization and dedicated bandwidth must be implemented via QoS router. - The monitoring server (S1) is located onto Internet. It allows to monitor the operating solution, to deliver software patches and to check that each site is fully operational. - The PC (PC1) is supervised through a web socket which operates the port 8000 TCP. (Outgoing) - PC updates are done through the http protocol (TCP port 80, outgoing) - The remote PC (PC1) is conducted through a SSH client. (Port 22 TCP, incoming) - The PC (PC1) also operates the NTP protocol (port 123 UDP, outgoing) to adjust the date and time zone.
