Calendar works with Google Calendar web-based service for creating and managing events, meetings, and appointments. When you first set up your phone, you configured it to use an existing Google Account, or you created a new account. The first time you open the Calendar application on your phone, it displays any existing calendar events from your Google Account on the web. To create an event: 1. Open you calendar by either tapping on the Google Calendar widget Applications tray on your homescreen or launch Calendar application from 2. Press Menu to get Calendar options 3. Touch New Event to open the Event details screen. You can also touch & hold a spot in Day, Week, or Month view to open a menu where you can touch New Event, to open the Event details screen with that day and time pre-entered.
