Our support will send you the code directly. Do I Need To Register My ClonerAlliance Flint LX? Product Registration is not a necessary step before using ClonerAlliance Flint LX. Without registration, you can use our products normally. If you want to use the free bundled software (HDML-Cloner Pro Helper and MP4-Cloner) for ClonerAlliance Flint LX, registration is strongly recommended. How to Update the Firmware of ClonerAlliance Flint LX Manually? Please proceed as follows: 1. Please click Windows Start menu and go to HDML-Cloner Pro Helper menu and Tool sub-menu. You can find shortcut of FLINT firmware update.

3 2. Click Shortcut of FLINT firmware update, you will see the window launched below. Click Download button, it will update automatically. 3. Success! 4. After updating the firmware successfully, the device name should be CA FLINT.

4 Video and Audio Out of Sync Issue Strongly Recommended: Please Do install HDML-Cloner Pro Helper(2.1 or above) on your computer. Generally, you won t get the issue any more. Adjust audio settings of Windows computer. 1. Connect ClonerAlliance Flint LX to PC first. Right click on Speaker Icon of Windows desktop tray bar, choose Recording devices. 2. At Advanced tab, double click CA FLINT, select the sample rate as 2 channel 16 bit, Hz (family-video-discs Quality)

5 It is an important setting, otherwise may cause the bad audio quality issue. If you are Mac/Linux users or really don t want to install HDML-Cloner Pro Helper, It could be resolved by adjusting a few settings your third party software. For further assistance, please contact our professional support for direct help. Not Found Any HDML-Cloner Box Pro Device/Device is Not Recognized 1. Please change another USB port to test if you could resolve the problem. 2. After connection, please make sure that you could see CA FLINT under Imaging devices and Sound, video and game controllers. 3. If you could see them, but get the error Device not found or Black screen issue. Don t worry. Please uninstall them and then reinstall them. The issue could be resolved. Please select CA Flint first, then click minus button. It will be

6 uninstalled. Then unplug Flint and plug it again. Try HDML-Cloner Pro Helper/OBS again. 4. After the setting above, it should be working. If not, just remove video capture device then add it again. You won t get the problem any more. Why Is There No Audio When Running Open Broadcaster Software(OBS) with ClonerAlliance Flint LX/LXT? Please adjust the setting of OBS accordingly, it could be resolved easily. Please proceed as follows: 1. Select Output desktop audio(directsound) in Audio Out Mode first.

7 2. Mark Use custom audio device and you will see CA FLINT Audio. Please click ok and you could hear the audio now. Black Screen/No Video/No Audio If you have tried all the steps above, OBS/HDML-Cloner Pro Helper still displays black screen/no video/no audio. Please check if your computer s USB 3.0 port is working well. If USB 3.0 port s performance is not well or it s only a USB 2.0 port, such issues will happen. Please manually change the codec to MJPG in OBS/HDML-Cloner Pro Helper, it may be helpful to fix the issue.

8 How to Allow ClonerAlliance Products to Connect to Windows 10 Smoothly after 1803 Update? This is caused by a known feature of the new release of Windows 10. On the Windows 10 April 2018 Update, users are finding out that many applications no longer have access to the camera. However, this is not a problem or a bug with this new release, it s

9 actually a change that Microsoft is implementing with version 1803 to give users more control over their privacy. If you have applications (HDML-Cloner Pro Helper) that require camera access on your PC, you need to follow these steps: 1. Go to Start, then select Settings> Privacy > Camera. 2. Choose your preferred setting for Allow apps to access your camera. 3. Under Choose which apps can access your camera, turn on or off the individual settings for apps and services. After adjusting the setting above, restart HDML-Cloner Pro Helper, you will no longer encounter the error message. Why does ClonerAlliance Flint LX Produce 259/other Number

Please disable your speaker of your computer and then make sure your computer s audio output is HDMI. The issue could be fixed. Please proceed as follows: 1. Go to the desktop. Right click on the volume icon and then select Playback devices. 2. Please disable your speaker of your computer and then make sure your computer s audio output is HDMI.

12 The default setting of OBS is for streaming and down. If you want to improve the quality, please try the following steps. 1. Click Settings in Open Broadcaster Software. 2. Select Video and adjust output resolution and FPS setting as follows. 3. Select video quality as High quality in Output.
