1 Isilon Product Availability Guide December 12, 2017 Products reach the end of their life cycle for a variety of reasons, including technology innovations, aging equipment, and market demand. The Isilon product support life cycle is designed to help you manage your investment in Isilon technology and to plan ahead for advancements in Isilon technology as products approach the end of their life cycle. 2 Terminology The following terms are used in this document. General Availability (GA) The date on which a product (including each new release of a software product) is to available to order and ship, but may not yet be automatically installed on shipping hardware. End of Life () The date after which Isilon has discontinued a product offering and removed from pricing/quoting systems the model number of the equipment or software. End of Primary Support () The date after which Primary Support is no longer available. End of Service Life () The date after which Isilon has discontinued Primary Support and Extended Support (if available) for a product offering, but may continue to offer limited support and/or maintenance on a time and materials basis, subject to resource availability. To Be (TBA) The date for a product life cycle category is still to be announced. For a list of current software releases that are available forisilon OneFS, OneFS software modules, and Isilon firmware packages, see the Current Isilon Software Releases document. Platforms Service Lifecycle Dates This section lists the service and support lifecycle dates for Isilon nodes. For some nodes, particular drives have an End of Life date.
