2 Integrated Audio System Enjoy a Musical Interior Freedom of Movement and Use With a sleek stand and minimal proportions, Restio looks like a work of art. It was created by completely re-imagining the concept of a music source as part of the interior. The independent body style makes music an interior design element, and because the sides are slanted, it appears to be a thin panel. The front grille uses expanded metal, providing an attractive texture. The striped pattern printed underneath the grille conveys a feeling of depth, giving the impression that the music is coming from within the entire front surface. Merging beautifully into the living space, this is an entirely new audio form that you can match to your lifestyle. Built-in Bluetooth means that you can enjoy all the music from your iphone, Android or Tablets wirelessly. Put your Restio wherever you want it, and use your smartphone as you usually do to operate the playback functions. In addition to operating the system, you can use Yamaha s DTA Controller app to set the alarm time for each day of the week individually, as well as make detailed IntelliAlarm settings. If you have an NFC-compatible device, simply hold it near the Restio, and the device syncs automatically. No annoying pairing settings to make just a one-touch operation to connect or disconnect.

4 Product Concept We designed the Restio to be not just an audio system, but rather as an integral a part of your room s interior, as like a sofa, table or an art frame. That reflects our desire as a musical instrument maker to see music become a more intimate companion of people, at their side during their daily lives. Even when the goal is to bring HiFi quality sound to your living room, the Restio seeks to remain unobtrusive and understated. Focusing on space and the people who live in it, we explored the vision for the product from all angles before arriving at a square art frame-style design supported on a slim, stylish stand. With a 9cm-thin body and a half-moon shaped stand base, you can position Restio right up against a wall. So the unit makes minimal demands on your living space. Maximum flexibility in placement has been achieved by also including a wall-hanging option. Relax and enjoy music from an audio system that has truly become part of your interior decor. Expanded Metal The use of expanded metal with a weave-like three-dimensional pattern evokes the natural texture of cloth. This maintains audio performance while blending in well with the interior. Front panel The front panel display uses glass, a material often incorporated into interiors. The frame has a textured aluminum coating with a pitch accuracy of 0.2 mm creating an exquisitely stylish finish.
