Offered as part of the SL Series of complementary surface-mount loudspeakers, the SL4210 delivers sound in a compact package that fits easily and unobtrusively into limited space. Power taps are provided for high-impedance operation at 1.25, 2.5, 5, or 10 W for 70 V systems, and 2.5, 5, or 10 W for 100 V systems. Housed in a ported enclosure of low-resonance molded composite, the SL4210 leaves behind the boxy shape of traditional surface mount speakers, offering instead a sleek look with smooth curves that enhance the ambiance of any location. The front face is finished with a detachable foam-backed wire-mesh steel grille, available in black or white, that is trimmed with an elegant smoked-chrome rim. The innovative SL Series mounting yoke (included) offers 180 degrees pan, 90 degrees tilt, allowing for for optimum loudspeaker aiming. 3 Architect s and Engineer s Specifications The loudspeaker shall be a professional full-range loudspeaker system in a ported composite enclosure designed for surface-mounting. Driver for the loudspeaker system shall be a single 3.5" x 1.18" rectangular driver. Enclosure for the loudspeaker system shall be constructed of low-resonance molded composite. The enclosure shall be finished with durable, scuff-free black or white paint. The front of the enclosure shall be protected with a detachable wrap-around steel wire-mesh grille with foam backing. The back of the enclosure shall have a recessed receptacle in which the connector shall be located. Mounting bracket shall be supplied with the loudspeaker system. The bracket shall allow aiming in both axes (180 degrees pan, 90 degrees tilt). The bracket shall mount to an included wall plate. Electronics The loudspeaker system shall also include a transformer accessable via a 5 position euroblock connector that sets the loudspeaker to operate at one of the supported wattages for high-impedance operation. Transformer taps at 70 V shall be 10, 5, 2.5 and 1.25 W. Transformer taps at 100 V shall be 10, 5, and 2.5 W. Connection to the loudspeaker system shall be via a 5-pin Euroblock connector on the input plate.
