8 What is the Enhanced Content Testing Program? Focused on HL7 Consolidated CDA (C- CDA) Continuity of Care Document (CCD) Tests compliance for base HL7 C- CDA CCD plus Meaningful Use (MU) requirements Enhanced test cases and procedures that align with the 2015 Edition MU test data and methods researchers- implementers/2015- edition- test- method Designed to enable interoperability and assure specification compliance will cover HL7 C- CDA CCD r1.1 and r2.1 with an overlay of the 2015 Meaningful Use requirements during the trial period through June Implementation- hardened by years of operations and documented pain points that continue to be coordinated with HL7 for inclusion in future documentation: Improved Scorecard Rubrics Future HL7 C- CDA Companion Guide 8 Copyright 2016 The Sequoia Project. 10 Content Testing Process 1. System Under Test (SUT) creates CCD submission for Inpatient and/or Ambulatory document with appropriate test data 2. SUT self- validates CCD submission(s) with SITE and Gazelle tooling and makes improvements as appropriate prior to submission 3. The SUT s the submission form and CCD sample(s) to 4. The Testing Lab reviews content testing submission(s) and confirms receipt to SUT point of contact 5. The Testing Lab schedules a manual review for Receive Test Case as described in section of the documentation 6. The Testing Lab validates CCD submission(s) with Testing Tools and provides summary report to SUT Submit HL7 C- CDA CCD sample(s) and submission form to testing@sequoiaproject.org 10 Copyright 2016 The Sequoia Project. 11 Pilot Content Testing Tooling ART DÉCOR/GAZELLE OBJECTS CHECKER Hosted by IHE Services as part of the IHE International Scheme Testing Tooling was piloted in April 2015 and is ISO Compliant for Conformity Assessment Covers only the HL7 C- CDA CCD R1.1 and R2.0 versions presently Found to report on warnings and errors not found by other testing tooling Testing for version HL7 C- CDA CCD 2.1 will be added to this tooling during the pilot DIAMETER HEALTH Focused on using C32 CCDs and C- CDA 1.1 documents CCD Analyzer tool has 200+ rules that score C32/C- CDA for semantic and clinical completeness and syntax Emphasis beyond simple schema/schematron rules available in in the NIST ETT tool This tool is proprietary, but Sequoia staff will provide the pilot participants a report to include feedback from this tooling SITE: STANDARDS IMPLEMENTATION & TESTING ENVIRONMENT C- CDA SANDBOX A centralized collection of tools and resources Assists the developers and implementers of Health Information Technology standards to achieve interoperability Only the Consolidated CDA (C- CDA) Sandbox will be evaluated. 11 Copyright 2016 The Sequoia Project.
