4 ECO Committee Progress to Date Full Committee Establishment of Baseline ECO Information Gathering/collecting materials related to education and outreach Currently gathering a list of past and upcoming events where HITSP-related information is being presented Creating an expanded HITSP Education site (folder) on the internal portal, to locate ECO-related documents that will provide HITSP leadership and others with materials, templates and guidelines to assist with outreach efforts HITSP: Enabling interoperability across the healthcare enterprise 3

11 HITSP-ECO Webinar Series Purpose and Scope a webinar series on U.S. healthcare interoperability To provide an overview of core concepts utilized by the HITSP Standards Harmonization Process for Healthcare Interoperability Introduce the first set of work products, including ISs and Constructs To increase the understanding of HITSP products and their value to the healthcare industry and its stakeholders Encourage interest in the value of HITSP and avoid the notion that it is only a technical exercise access to subject matter experts: two or more experts presented and answered questions at each Webinar To promote the recruitment of new members to the Panel and new volunteers to its various committees and working groups Slide 10
