9 Base Page Class: The project had 18 roles (personas), extendable to 32. Each page had a default role assignment, and users could have one or more roles assigned to them, allowing the system to validate page access. Users could be extended using a secondary set of access rules. All access logic was generic and soft, meaning there was no specific hardcoding for user access. Base page access also prevented multiple simultaneous access (logon sharing). Base page logic also managed hacking scenario attempts and blacklisted IP s. Therefore, even if only 1 developer has completed their respective work, they can test it without waiting for other developers to complete their piece of the solution. This approach allows a developer to focus on their core strengths, reducing the overall SDLC cost since production quality code drips off their fingertips due to their retained expert knowledge with a specific technology related to their responsibility. Also, this approach ensures separation of concerns, that code is loosely coupled, testable and measurable.
