1 S22 Product Range S22 Product overview We are a UK designer and manufacturer of rugged keyboards, tracker balls, PC s and Display products. The complete range of our products utilise industrial components to allow exceptional quality, long term availability and a standard warranty of 3 years, extending to 5 years if required. A built in Watchdog monitors, logs and conditions the product allowing optimum performance in all environments. The S22 utilises a 21.5 LED backlit 16:9 display with various electronic packages, namely: - VGA/DVI. - KVM Extenders. - Axel M85 Thin Client, - Thin Client (Atom N270) - Client PC (Atom N270/D525) The range is available Bezel mount or fully Cased in Stainless Steel. Various sealing options are available, from IP22 though to IP69K. Touch screens, being an essential part of the modern system, are available as standard as Projected Capacitive (P.Cap). The complete range may be powered as VAC, 12-24VDC and 12VDC only. Options include a thermal control internal heating system to allow units to function from -30 C, and an external waterproof fan assembly to extend the upper temperature to 50 C. Wi-Fi communications are available via an external antennae Choose from a range of keyboards, with or without pointing devices Physical mounting kits include pedestal or wall mount The flexible design will cover most requirements within the standard package, however, we do offer full customisation services, if so required.

5 Wi-Fi The wireless USB module is fully compliant with IEEE's security b or g (2.4 GHz) standards with WPA/WEP support. Compatible with Windows 98SE/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003 server/ce (4.2/5.0b)/Ubuntu Linux With data rates between wireless devices of up to 54 Mbps, it can deliver the bandwidth necessary for realtime streaming for many applications. Sealing Operating Temp: Frequency IP68, EN60529, when mated 20ºC to +65ºC GHz Watchdog Watchdog continually monitors and records the internal operating conditions of our products. This constant scrutiny proactively prevents and protects the hardware from costly damage, and terminal failure whilst maintaining critical data integrity. In conditions outside the machine s operating temperatures (-5 C to +40 C Standard, -30 C to +50 C Extended), the Watchdog will prevent start-up. Only components that will be unaffected by the temperature extremes will be switched on until internal conditions allow a safe start-up. If conditions require, a safe shutdown of all elements will occur automatically The Watchdog will constantly record system data including the method of system start up and shut-down, noting whether the machine has been closed in a controlled manner, switched off by use of the rear power switch or that power has been removed at source. A series of four, rear mounted flashing LEDs (green amber or red) indicate to the operator the status of the internal fan(s) detailing signs of potential failure, internal temperature levels, power and storage medium.
