ADFeb.com Revision Previe 1.0 CHARACTERISTICS: The CANopen to Agent SNMP Ethernet 10/100 Mb Gateay is a mountable electronic device on rail DIN ith an autonomous energy supply that allos the folloing: the to-directional passage of information beteen a CANopen BUS and a SNMP BUS on the Ethernet 10/100. The Gateay CANopen to Agent SNMP Ethernet 10/100 Mb is configurable from the part of the SNMP up to a maximum of 100 DoubleWORD, 100 WORD, 100 Byte on the SNMP agent s side. ADFeb.com Revision Previe 1.0 USE OF COMPOSITORC2SNMP.EXE SOFTWARE: INTRODUCTION The device CANopen to Agent SNMP Ethernet 10/100 Mb Gateay, allos a CANopen netork to communicate ith a TCP IP netork through Agent SNMP, that e simply call CANopen and SNMP in this manual. In order to: Define the parameters of the BUS Define that the SDO of the CANopen are accessible from SNMP. Update the ne configurations of the device. Save, duplicate, modify, export the configurations The softare needed to perform the above on your PC is CompositorC2SNMP.exe. This file can also be imported and exported. To clone the configurations of a CANopen to Agent SNMP Ethernet 10/100 Mb Gateay in order to configure another device in the same manner, it is necessary to maintain the folder and all its contents. To clone a project in order to obtain a different version of the project, it is sufficient to duplicate the project folder ith another name and open the ne folder ith the button Open Project. SDO timeout is the maximum aiting time from the Gateay hen the ModBUS device asks the Gateay for a SDO that comes from a CANopen device and it does not respond. CONFIGURATION OF THE SDO Section SET SDO Access Within the section as SET SDO Access can be define hich objects SDO are accessible from SNMP MIB variables. The SDO: to byte dimension (note: nbyte=2) belonging to a CANopen device ID 12 (note: ID Dev=12) of the folloing coordinates: Index 2003 and Subindex 0 The data of the columns have the folloing meanings: ID Dev is the address of the CANopen device hich requires the SDO Index is the index of the index (coordinated ith the SDO) Subindex is the subindex of the SDO (coordinated ith the SDO) nbyte indicates the length of the SDO. Index Array is the index in the array of variables present in the Gateay on the SNMP side. 10 . ADFeb.com Revision Previe 1.0 UP DATE DEVICE: Section UP Date Device : In order to load the parameters after they are set, you must click the button create file binary on the principal indo. When the processing is complete, click on Generate Firmare. On the Generate firmare indo, select the original firmare of the device open firmare. Click on Execute Modify File SX. At this point, the update occurs like our other products (see documentation on flash rite). Boot the Gateay ith the provided jumper. Select the serial port hich performs the update. ADFeb.com Revision Previe 1.0 CONNECTION SCHEME: CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CABLES: The connection from RS232 socket to a serial port (example one from a personal computer), must be made ith a NULL MODEM cable (a serial cable here the pins 2 and 3 are crossed).
