If you are building a Mini-Tower configuration make sure to change the expansion bracket and adjust back panel size. Section Two: take out components from protective bag, position and screw middle panel to section one. If you are building a Mid-Tower configuration make sure to add the expansion to the middle section, SSD expansion caddy and tighten screws. Section Three: take out components from protective bag, remove security thumb screws, position front panel in an upright position and tighten the screws. If you are building a Mini-Tower configuration, make sure to adjust front panel size, screw components to previous assembly and tighten screws. Section Four: take out components from protective bag and use red thumb screws to secure to previous sections. If you are building a Mini-Tower configuration make sure to adjust side panel size. 5 Before You Begin 5

8 CONVERTIBLE PC CASE REQUIREMENTS In order to assemble Morpheus to the desired form factor (either mini or mid tower) you will need:. A flat working area (e.g. desk or table) with sufficient space 2. A magnetic Phillips screw driver 9 This means you need to have the Phillips screw driver available in order to complete this assembly and the type of screw you need. Start by taking the entire content out of the box, sort them out by section, take out the quick start mouse mat and use it as general guide and building surface. Note: Handle all components with care, should you need any assistance go to Before You Begin 7

11 BACK / BOTTOM PANEL ASSEMBLY Unpack components To start the assembly, you need to: - Take out the preassembled bottom and back panel out of the bag. - Remove the top back trim and set it aside for later use, additionally you need to remove security thumb screws on each side Note: you may discard the security screws as they are not used for the assembly Chapter 0

12 BACK / BOTTOM PANEL ASSEMBLY Create an L-Shape structure - Lift the back panel to an upright position, in order to make an L-Shaped structure,, tke out the shipping foam, mini tower expansion bracket and 80.0 mm fan and set them aside for later use. - Make sure the back and bottom panels are properly aligned and tighten the two structure screws ( and 2) on each side of the L-Shape Structure. 2 9 Chapter

13 BACK / BOTTOM PANEL ASSEMBLY Secure the structure - Locate the two screw holes at the bottom of the structure, place and tighten two structure screws. 9 2 screw them from the outside in Chapter 2

14 BACK / BOTTOM PANEL ASSEMBLY Change the PCIe bracket In order to build a mini tower form factor, you need to change the expansion bracket. - Loosen and remove the two structure screws ( and 2) that secure the adjustable top to the back panel body and set it aside. Remove the adjustable top and the mid tower expansion bracket. 2 slide upwards 9 Chapter 3

15 BACK / BOTTOM PANEL ASSEMBLY Change the PCIe bracket - Take out the mini tower expansion bracket from the cardboard protection and attach it to the back panel body by using two structure screws. 9 2 screw them from the outside in Chapter 4

16 BACK / BOTTOM PANEL ASSEMBLY Change the PCIe bracket - Slide the adjustable top back into position and align the adjustable top and back panel body, additionally place and tighten five structure screws. slide downwards Chapter 5

20 MIDDLE PANEL ASSEMBLY Unpack components Provided a successful SECTION assembly, now the next step is to install the middle panel and its components. To start the assembly, you need to: - Take out the preassembled middle panel and base plate out of the bags. - Take out the HDD stabilizer and structure screws from Box PL02-. Chapter 2 9

21 MIDDLE PANEL ASSEMBLY Secure the structure - Align the holes for the preassembled middle panel and base plate, join both parts by placing and tightening two ( & 2) structure screws. 9 2 screw them from the outside in Chapter 2 20

22 MIDDLE PANEL ASSEMBLY Secure the structure - Get the HDD stabilizer, align the screw holes, place and tighten two structure screws in order to secure it into place. 9 2 Note: you need to have the Phillips screw driver available in order to complete this assembly. Chapter 2 2

23 MIDDLE PANEL ASSEMBLY Secure the structure Once the middle section is fully assembled, place it inside the SECTION build. Make sure to align the screw holes to facilitate assembly. - Place the middle panel on top of the bottom panel and secure it into position using five structure screws; three (, 2, & 3) to connect the back panel and middle panel and two (4 & 5) to connect the back panel and the HDD security arm screw them from the outside in Chapter 2 22

24 MIDDLE PANEL ASSEMBLY Secure the structure - Turn over the build, place and tighten a screw located in the bottom panel. 9 screw them from the outside in Chapter 2 23

28 TOP / FRONT PANEL ASSEMBLY Unpack components Provided a successful SECTION 2 assembly, now the next step is to install the top and front panels and their components. To start the assembly, you need to: - Take out the preassembled top and front panel out of the bag. - Remove both top and bottom front trim and set it aside for later use, additionally you need to remove security thumb screws on each side 2 Note: 2 you may discard the security screws as they are not used for the assembly Chapter 3 27

29 TOP / FRONT PANEL ASSEMBLY Create an L-Shape structure - Lift the front panel to an upright position, in order to make an L-Shaped structure, take out the cooling bracket and the two 20.0 mm red LED fans and set them aside for later use. - Make sure the front and top panels are properly aligned and tighten the two structure screws ( and 2) on each side of the L-Shape Structure. 2 9 Note: be careful as the front panel is not secured. 30 TOP / FRONT PANEL ASSEMBLY Secure the structure - Locate the two screw holes at the bottom of the L-Structure, place and tighten two ( and 2) structure screws. 9 2 screw them from the outside in Chapter 3 29

39 TRIM / SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY Secure the trim to the structure - Start by positioning the bottom trim, place and tighten two ( and 2) trim screws, place the top trim, place and tighten three (3, 4 and 5) trim screws and finally place and tighten four (6, 7, 8 and 9) structure screws tighten structure screws from the inside tighten trim screws from the outside Chapter 4 38

41 TRIM / SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY Install cooling bracket and filter - Position and snap on the cooling bracket on the front panel, from the inside of Morpheus and secure it into position with one structure screw and put the dust filter back on 9 screw it from the outside in Chapter 4 40

42 TRIM / SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY Install side panels Now you are ready to finalize the assembly, should you want to install your components, this would be the right time to start. If you want to finalize the assembly you need to: - Take out each side panel out of the bag Chapter 4 4

46 READY, SETUP, GO Motherboard Installation Morpheus comes with enough mounting standoffs for a full ATX or smaller form factor. 2 Remove the thumb screws, side panel and install the I/O shield Align the motherboards screw holes with the case standoff, attach the motherboard using the provided screws. Note: From inside, snap the I/O panel into the cutout in the rear of the case. Chapter 5 45

47 READY, SETUP, GO Connect the Front Panel Switches and LEDs Morpheus front panel switches, LEDs, and USB ports have wire leads that need to be attached to header pins the motherboard. Use your motherboard manual to locate the proper header pins and attach the right connectors. USB 2.0 POWER SW HDD LED POWER LED - USB 3.0 HD AUDIO RESET SW POWER LED + Tips: - LED leads are marked positive (+) or negative ( ) and must be connected to the corresponding pins on the motherboard. The orientation of the RESET SW and POWER SW connectors does not matter - Use your motherboard manual to correctly identify the front I/O connectors. Chapter 5 46

49 READY, SETUP, GO SSD / HDD Installation Morpheus is designed with tool-less 3.5 (convertible to 2.5 ) and 2.5 drive bays. 2 Remove the tool-less bracket, attach the HDD into it Place the bracket with the drive in its original position. Chapter 5 48

50 READY, SETUP, GO Fan Installation - Front, top, bottom Morpheus is designed to provide superb cooling with the two included 20.0 mm fans. Optionally, two 40.0 mm fans or a single mm fan can be installed instead (not included). 2 Attach the 20.0 mm or 40.0 mm fan to the fan bracket and secure it to Morpheus Attach the mm fan to the front panel Chapter 5 49

51 READY, SETUP, GO Attaching the Case Fan Cables Morpheus comes with RGB controls directly on the I/O. Simply connect the cables to an RGB controller and use a SATA cable to power up the controller. Tips: - The RGB controller supports additional Quiet Storm RGB FAN - It is recommended to use Quiet Storm RGB fans with the RGB controller. - Please note that the included 80.0 mm fan is not RGB and should not be connected to the RGB controller. Note: connecting a NON-RGB RIOTORO FAN will potentially set the RGB lightning out of sync, connect any non RGB fan or third party fan to the motherboard fan headers if needed. Chapter 5 50

52 READY, SETUP, GO Water Cooling Installation mm or 40.0 mm options Morpheus is designed to provide superb fan cooling with two options, use a 20.0 mm or a mm radiator in the front, top or bottom. 2 Remove the dust filters, attach the 20.0 mm radiator to the front, top or bottom. Remove the dust filters, attach the 40.0 mm radiator to the front, top or bottom. Note: top installation is only possible with ITX motherboards Chapter 5 5

53 READY, SETUP, GO GPU Installation In the mid tower configuration Morpheus allows for the installation of up to four (4) GPUs. 2 Remove the thumb screws and PCIe expansion covers/ Attach each GPU to the motherboard, place and tighten the thumbs screws. Chapter 5 52

55 EVERYTHING ELSE General Maintenace If you need to clean your gaming computer by doing more than wiping it down with a clean cloth, follow these instructions: - Complete power down of your machine, display and peripherals. - Disconnect all the power cables from the electrical outlet power strip. - Disconnect all peripherals from the machine. - Clean the machine with a soft, lint-free paper or cloth damped with mild soap and water. Note: Do not spray liquid directly onto the case, liquid could drip inside it and cause electrical shock. Chapter 6 54

56 EVERYTHING ELSE Important Safety Information In order to achieve maximum safety while using your MORPHEUS convertible case, we suggest that you adopt the following guidelines: - Should you have trouble operating the device properly and troubleshooting does not work, unplug the device and contact the RIOTORO hotline or go to for support. Do not attempt to service or fix the device yourself at any time. - Do not take apart the device (doing so will void your warranty) and do not attempt to operate it under abnormal current loads. - Keep the device away from liquid, humidity or moisture. Operate the device only within the specific temperature range of 0 C (32 F) to 40 C (04 F). Should the temperature exceed this range, unplug and switch off the device and let the temperature stabilize to an optimal level. Operational Safety: Research has shown that long periods of repetitive motion, improper positioning of your computer peripherals, incorrect body position, and poor habits may be associated with physical discomfort and injury to nerves, tendons, and muscles. Below are some guidelines to avoid injury and ensure optimum comfort while using your Morpheus convertible case. - Position: your keyboard, mouse and monitor need to be placed directly in front of you. Place your elbows next to your side, not too far away and your mouse within easy reach. - Height: Adjust the your chair and table so that the keyboard and mouse are at or below elbow height. - Support: Keep your feet well supported, posture straight and your shoulders relaxed. - Operation: relax your wrist and keep it straight. If you do the same tasks with your hands repeatedly, try not to bend, extend or twist your hands for long periods. Do not rest your wrists on hard surfaces for long periods. Use a wrist rest to support your wrist while gaming. - Customization: personalize your keyboard to suit your style of gaming in order to minimize repetitive or awkward motions while gaming. - Activity: Ensure that you et up, step away from your desk and do exercises to stretch your arms, shoulders, neck and legs; do not sit in the same position all day. - Safety: If you should experience any physical discomfort while using your Keyboard, such as pain, numbness,or tingling in your hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck or back, please consult a qualified medical doctor vimmediately.
