No need for complex installation and software updates - Saia PCD Web-Panels are ready for use right away. There are three display sizes available: 10" and 12" with resolution and 15" with XGA resolution ( pixels). The Saia PCD Web-Panel CE PCD7.D51xxTL010 product family is based on AMD Geode LX800 processors. An innovative CPU design provides the same processing performance even at a chip speed of 533 MHz as is normally achieved at 800 MHz with traditional processors. Thanks to this efficient CPU design, thermal leakage is kept to a minimum, and the processor can be run without a fan. The Windows CE operating system is stored on a compact flash card (CFC) disk storage is not required. Fan-free CPU operation and flash memory guarantee 100% silent running. This is why the Web-Panels are especially suited for use in applications demanding increased processor performance, but also valuing silent operation and a low price level. Typical applications are in home/building automation, and in industrial applications under tough conditions.

2 Features Ideal for web visualisation Web visualisations can be displayed with three different browsers: The microbrowser is a lean, resource-saving browser, specially designed for web visualisations. It is especially suited to high-speed user interfaces where no Java applets or other HTML pages are included. Applet viewer The applet viewer displays Java-based web visualisations. It can also display any Java applet. This means that it can be used to combined standard web visualisations with self-created applets. For web visualisation, uses the installed Java Virtual Machine, but can also display other web pages. is suited to web visualisations that demand tight integration of HTML pages where highspeed operation is a secondary consideration. Simple panel configuration The Saia PCD Web-Panel Configurator can be used to adapt the Web-Panel to the specific application in a moment. An intuitive user interface allows all settings to be entered in a logical step-by-step sequence. Further information on every setting can also be retrieved from the integrated help browser. From the network configuration through to the selection of the web visualisation to be displayed, and the associated browser settings, the multilingual software tool makes it easy to set up the Web-Panel even without any Windows knowledge. 3 VNC: Remote panel operation With VNC, the Web-Panel can be operated from any PC. A network connection transfers the screen content to the local machine; keystrokes and mouse movements are then passed to the panel. In this way, Saia PCD Web-Panels can be conveniently configured and operated even over large distances. The viewer can also be called from the web visualisation documents stored on the panel can be incorporated into the user interface. Video player The powerful video player plays all the usual video formats such as MPEG1, MPEG2, DivX, etc. and can be launched from a web visualisation. Web Connect provides for simple and efficient communication between panel, controls and Internet. The Web HMI server can be used to add a web interface to high-level language programs, to allow them to be conveniently run via a web browser. The Web-Panels are fitted with the.net Compact Framework and are an ideal platform for Visual Basic and C# programs. The HTTP gateway function can be used to address the web servers for cheaper controls without an Ethernet connection via RS 232/485 or USB. This access facility is transparent to HTTP clients such as web browsers. Use as a proxy server with a caching function is especially practical for larger web projects. For slower RS 232/485 or modem connections in particular, access to these projects can be considerably speeded up. provides a routing function within the local network to other Web-Panels and PCD controls.
