It contains statements for software and hardware. Below though is the statement on hardware to help with understanding the next stepss in some of our products. GE Intelligent Platforms is committed to protecting our customers' investment in our products. We do not mature or obsolete products unless the sales are very low, we can no longer purchase parts to manufacture the modules, or we have newer technology replacements. At the appropriate point in the life cycle of a product, GE Intelligent Platforms will announce thatt the product is moving from an "Active" to a "Mature" product status and then later Mature to a Discontinued status. The normal Mature to Discontinued period is 9 years. A product moving to Mature status is available for sale and repair of products for a minimum of two (2) years. Near the end of the Mature status period, customers will be given a six-month notice that a product is moving from Mature to Discontinued status. At this time customers will be offered an opportunity for a "Last Time Buy." Subsequent to the Last Time Buy, orders for Discontinued products will no longer be accepted. GE Intelligent Platforms will continue to service the Discontinued product, i.e., provide Repair-and-Return or Exchange modules for seven (7) years. This limited service excludes any technical support from the Tech Support Team. The exact time period of Mature to Discontinued status is subject to the availability of component parts.

2 SECTION 2 SERIES STATUS Beginningg with the introduction of our PACSystems family of control solution, GE Intelligent Platforms has had a unique strategy of incorporating state of the art technology into new platforms which enable customers of older products to easily migrate forward. The Series has been one of the most successful products in the history of PLCs with its ground breaking open architecture. Since 2003 when we introducedd the RX7i based on a higher performance VME platform, we have been maturing and discontinuing products that have had sales had decline as customers moved to the newer systems. With some technology becoming difficult to manufacture, and nearly all functionality enhanced with PACSystems RX7i and RX3i, and with one of the best migration paths in the business, we matured more of the Series at the beginning of This set of products will be DISCONTINUED in March GE-IP is now offering last time buys on these products. The last group of products in that family will go mature January 1,, 2011 with target discontinue in January Please see the tables below with the status of each module. Move Up Easily Series programs move seamlessly into PACSystemss with only minor adjustments while providing a vast amount of new capability. What was one of the most powerful systems on the market, is easily surpassed by the PACSystems RX3i at a lower cost in a smaller Less S footprint. Customerss requiring special purpose built VME boards can move easily to the PACSystems RX7i. The IC698CPE010 is being replaced with the IC698CPE030 in all shipments. The CPE030 has larger memory and more processing power. No application changes required, just put in the configuration n and start running your system at higher efficiency. Effective December 1, 2010 the following module will changee status from ACTIVE TO DISCONTINUED. PACSystems RX7i CPU Discontinue 12/1/2010 IC698CPE0100 RX7i 300mhz CPU with Ethernet 10/100 With our current capabilities to run remote I/O over Ethernet and the exciting new products due out next year extending and enhancing that capability, we are maturing the Genius Bus Controller modules for the PACSystems RX7i and RX3i. In addition the bus transmitter module for having remote racks of Series I/O connected to the RX7i is being matured. New modules may still be ordered while the products are mature. We are excited thatt our new offerings will be less cost, less space occupied, and provide much more value. Part of the PACSystems to continue to move as technology changes to provide the overall best solutions.
