13 Summary The overall objective of Flex5Gware was to deliver highly reconfigurable hardware (HW) platforms and HW-agnostic software (SW) platforms, targeting both network elements and devices Flex5Gware adopted a holistic approach performing research and implementations on key building blocks of 5G (and co-operations among them) to provide versatile, flexible, reconfigurable, efficient operations for HW/SW platforms Flex5Gware evaluated and demonstrates the developed 5G technologies, by means of proofs-of-concept implementations Flex5Gware research work concluded in a significant number of publications, patent applications, Standardisation contributions in 3 GPP, ETSI, IEEE, and has exhibited results in conference booths and show cases in several events Flex5Gware: Flexible and efficient hardware/software platforms for 5G network elements and devices 13
