8 RF Design Avoidance of Coexistence Problems Interference occurs when two antennas use the same frequency e.g. Wi-Fi & BT both work at 2.4 GHz. Isolation, created by distance, antenna angels, etc. is necessary to keep RF functioning. Mechanical Solutions to Isolate Noise Wireless modules are easily interfered by antenna radiation, and that decreases RF sensitivity. Connection quality can also be affected when resonance frequency of a module s PCB antenna radiation falls into the RF system s band. Shielding cases are useful to avoid interference.
