The model description of the GLM-I series follows the format GLM-IX YT ZB. The "X" is the package speed code. The variables following the "X" refer to the number and the type of labeler. CWM6000: For use in the dynamic and static checkweighing of prepackagedd commodities, including USDA and FDA food products. Both devices are marked "For Prepack Only." 3 Page 3 of 5 Operation: The GLM-I Series and the CWM6000 are capable of dynamic and static weighing. Dynamic weighing is done byy weighing the package while it is in motion. Static weighing requires the operator to placee the package on the weighing element and remove it after weighing. Belt speed can be determined by placing a mark at the edge of one belt of the weighing platform and timing twenty revolutions of the belt. The weighing platform s belts are one meter long. Divide the twenty revolutions by the total elapsed time to determine meters per second. For example: 20/30.95 seconds = meters/second. NIST Handbook 44 requires the to be marked with the maximum belt speed. The belt speeds are listed below.
