2 Abstract Workload Automation Programming Language for z/os (WAPL) is a Workload Automation interface that allows users to simply leverage the full potential of Workload Scheduler for z/os. With WAPL it is possible to easily implement scenarios that would normally require a complex programming if implemented through the classic Workload Scheduler Programming Interface Facility. In this presentation, after an overview of the functions that WAPL offers, you see the power of this new interface through the implementation of some interesting scenarios. 2

17 Repeatable Occurrences creation Thanks to RESOLVE parameter it is possible to control the addition of each occurrence RESOLVE(NEXT): respects the intervals of the start but the occurrence is not added if the interval is passed.
