2 1. PRE-REQUISITE a. 4 2. CREATE A PROPERTY GROUP a. Compile DB2 environment needs to be selected Use compile option TEST to add debug information Add your BIND step in the SYSTSIN box on the ELAXFCOC step of the COBOL tab

Link Target the Load library referenced by your WLM debug environment (GAUNEA2.BUILD.PDSE.LOAD in my case) Link your stored procedure with DSNRLI

6 3. CREATE A STORED PROCEDURE You can use the IDz template to automatically create a COBOL stored procedure. Open the Data perspective Connect to your database Create a Data Development project Create a new Stored procedure

7 Indicate where to create the COBOL source (GAUNEA2.PMR.SRC.COBOL(DB2SP2) in my case)

8 COBOL code is created and edited in COBOL editor Open the DDL of the stored procedure Replace it with the following CREATE PROCEDURE GAUNEA2.RDSYSROUTINES ( OUT SPNAME CHAR(18), OUT SPSCHEMA CHAR(8) ) RESULT SETS 1 EXTERNAL NAME DB2SP2 LANGUAGE COBOL PARAMETER STYLE SQL NOT DETERMINISTIC COLLID GAUNEA2 WLM ENVIRONMENT DSNWLMB_DEBUGGER RUN OPTIONS 'TEST(ALL,,PROMPT,DBM%gaunea2:*)' Use Run option TEST(,DBM%<your userid>) to trigger zdebugger. Save the change.

9 4. DEPLOY THE PROCEDURE Right-click on the procedure and select menu Deploy A job is submitted

10 Job finishes and stored procedure is available on the database after refresh

11 5. RUN THE STORED PROCEDURE Debug session starts
