6 WP6 last achievements /5 Other partners were very active too SOTON helped the RIPE NCC to port the TTM code to IPv6 and tested it They used Netflow v9 to control the renumbering process Related to IPv6 multicast management they worked on SSMPING tool to check PIM SSM connectivity And dbeacon : (creation of ULP) PSNC Commercial platforms tested in IPv6 renumbering experimentations (HPOV NNM 7.5 and Cisco CM 4.0) And used along with other tools in the PIONEER NREN MRTG, AS PATH tree, LG, Cf : B. 7 WP6 success story (ies) RIPE NCC Test Traffic Monitoring H/w and S/w to monitor network «quality», measuring delay, packet loss, jitter, In 2002, 100+ such boxes (servers) were installed mainly in EU 6Net helped the RIPE NCC to make their S/w IPv6 ready and the service available The first Dual Stack TTM server was installed in SOTON by 2003 These days, 30+ such DS TTMs are installed and running They provide accurate data on IPv6 networks around EU 6Net s initiative accelerated the availability of this new service Plots are available from : (you need to accept terms and conditions that you won't republish the data without informing RIPE NCC) B.
