2 v11.2 Dashboard To display the Munis menu, click Tyler Menu in the header of the Dashboard. 2
3 11.2 Dashboard Using the Search box on the Tyler Menu, you can search for Munis programs by name. When you complete a search, results for multiple instances of the same program are summarized. 3
4 11.2 Dashboard Recent Activity The Recent Activity section on the Dashboard provides direct access to the the 10 most recently accessed programs. To access one of the recently viewed programs, click the program name in the Recent Activity list. 4
5 11.2 Dashboard - Favorites The Favorites group on the Tyler Dashboard provides easy access to the Munis programs that you use frequently. To add a program to the My Favorites group, navigate to the program in the Tyler Menu and then right-click the program name. When you click Add to My Favorites, the Dashboard immediately includes the program in your My Favorites menu. 5
6 11.2 Dashboard Edit Favorites Using the Edit Favorites option on the Tyler Dashboard, you can create categories for your favorite programs and then add programs to those categories. To add a category to the Favorites group, click Edit Favorites, select Add Category, enter the category name and then click Save Favorite. After it s saved, you ll then see the new Category on the left side of the Dashboard. To move programs from ones already in My Favorites to the new Category, simply click on the program to be moved then drag and drop into the Category. 6
7 Standard Screen Features The standard Munis program screen contains several working sections, including a header, a ribbon, menu options and a navigation bar. At the top of the screen, the header includes the Tyler logo, and the Minimize, Enhancement, Help and Close buttons. Directly under the header is the Munis ribbon. The ribbon contains groups of related buttons that allow you to perform various actions throughout the Munis program. 7
8 Standard Screen Features The work area in a Munis program contains the fields required to complete actions. If there are more fields than can be displayed on one screen, the work area is divided into tabs. 8
9 Standard Screen Features The navigation bar at the bottom of the screen allows the user to move through the active set of records, one record a time, or to move directly to the first or last record within the set. 9
10 Standard Screen Features The Menu group in the ribbon provides program-specific actions available for the program. Menu options may display additional screens and/or open other related programs. Some programs have multiple options that can t all be seen in the Menu group. Click More to view the complete list. 10
11 Standard Screen Features Many times, programs have multiple screens that you will open as you perform various processes. When going back to the main screen for the program, simply click Return to get back to the previous screen. 11
12 Shortcut Keys Munis provides task shortcut keys and menu shortcut keys that allow you to use your keyboard for tasks or to access program options. Hover over a ribbon option and a ToolTip provides a description and the applicable shortcut keys. 12

14 Table Headings The column headers for tables in Browse screens include column display and sort order options. To define the columns that display or to reset the sort order, right-click a column heading. Select or clear check boxes to add or remove items from the display Use the options provided to reset the entire table. Click to drag a column to a new location 14
15 How to Determine if You re Program Has the Latest Code If you are unsure if your district has installed the most up-to-date code for a program, you can check this by following the steps below: Click the Tyler logo Select About Select System Information The System Information screen displays the latest MUN associated with the program. The example shown is from the KY Employee Benefits program. 15
16 Web Parts The Web Parts setting allows you to add, remove and arrange the web parts that are available on your personal dashboard. System administrators can also manage shared web parts. Click Web Parts in the Dashboard header. 16
17 Web Parts To add Munis Web Parts, click on the Munis tab. Expand the sections to view the Web Part options Click on the Web Part you want to add to the Dashboard. Web Parts can be moved to another location by performing drag and drop. Click Update when you re finished adding Web Parts. 17

20 Changes with MIU (Managed Internet Update) Utility When upgrading to v11.2, there is a change to the MIU. TRAIN is no longer an exact copy of the programs in LIVE. You will see three separate databases when logging into the MIU after upgrading and making the necessary changes to the MIU utility. When performing updates, updates need to be applied to TRAIN in the same manner as they are performed for the LIVE and TEST environment using the MIU. 20
