4 In case of VMware RM environment, currently does not support 32-bit Windows erver 2003 R2 guest virtual machines, however supports 32-bit Windows erver 2003 P2, 64-bit Windows erver 2003 R2 guest virtual machines and other supported operating systems in such one environment. RM 4.0 is not supported. Note 3. vphere support condition, known issue: will be supporting vphere 4.0, vphere 4.1 and vphere 4.1U1 with: - Windows 2003 P2 (x86/x64) - Windows 2003 R2 (x86) with limitations for RM (Please see RM notes) - Windows 2003 R2 x64 - Windows 2008 (x86/x64) - Windows 2008 R2 x64 For the list of supported operating systems refer to ymantec Installation and Upgrade Guide. Browser versions supported: IE6, IE7 (with limitations as below), IE8, IE9 Known issue: Refreshing the view multiple times displays a network connectivity error. This issue is typically observed in case of IE7 browser. view refreshes the application status every 60 seconds. However, in case of network failure if you manually refresh the view multiple times, IE displays a network connectivity error. If you click OK on the error message and then click another virtual machine in the vphere lient, the tab displays the application status of an unknown application. This issue also occurs if you refresh the Note 4. NBU and BE view are configured and simultaneously as ustomized reset the Application virtual machine. in 5.1P2. Note 5. Veritas Operation manager (VOM) known issues:

5 a). fails to work if Veritas Operations Manager is uninstalled The Managed Host components of Veritas Operations Manager (VOM) are installed on the onsole erver and the guest virtual machines, during the installation. A separate entry is created for VOM in the Windows Add Remove Programs. Uninstallation of VOM removes the VRTsfmh package which breaks the functionality. The sfmh package contains the 'Veritas torage Foundation Messaging ervice' that is commonly used by and VOM. Note: This issue also occurs when you uninstall the Veritas Operations Manager luster erver. Workaround: 1) Insert the software disc into your system drive and navigate to the Pkgs\ommon directory. If you have uninstalled the Veritas Operations Manager entral erver, you must navigate to the Pkgs\ommon\x64 directory. 2) Run the VRTsfmh.msi 3) Repair the installation If you have uninstalled the Veritas Operations Manager entral erver, you must repair the onsole installation. For more details, please refer to the latest release note for 5.1P2. b). may not work properly if you reinstall the VRTsfmh package. On the Windows platform, you must repair guest installation. On the inux platform, you must reinstall guest components. c). VOM installation fails when single sign-on is configured. If you configure single sign-on for on a virtual machine, then you may be unable to install Veritas Operations Manager entral erver (VOM ) on the same virtual machine. Workaround: First install VOM on a virtual machine and then install guest components. For more details, please refer to the latest release note for 5.1P2. d). Installing or uninstalling guest components will cause the VOM web service to go down on the inux platform. Workaround: Restart VOM web service manually, or reboot the host. e). VOM 4.0RU1 MH is not supported by AppHA 5.1P2. Note 6. This ymantec agent is included in Agent Pack 3Q2011.

6 Additional Notes: a). Exchange 2010DAG, Exchange 2007 R are not supported in 5.1 P2. b). VOM entral erver () supports 64BITs only, VOM Managed Host (MH client) supports all platforms.
