1 TO: Restaurant Manager FROM: McDonald s USA and Coca-Cola RE: Fountain Refresh with Fanta Orange Per McDonald s Supply Chain request, Coca-Cola has been asked to replace Hi-C Orange with Fanta Orange in all U.S. restaurants beginning June 5, 2017 through the week of August 4, This accelerated conversion time line is being done in order to accommodate a July marketing window to launch Fanta Orange with Sriracha at McDonald s. This visit was scheduled by Coca-Cola and communicated to your owner/operator approximately two weeks prior to today. In order to complete upgrades by the July 2017 deadline, we ask that you do not turn away the Coca-Cola agent or attempt to reschedule. If rescheduled, your restaurant will be invoiced $300. The Fountain Refresh visit will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. During the visit restaurants will be unable to use the Self-Serve Dispenser & the ABS machine to serve beverages simultaneously. There may be brief times during the conversion that both dispensers will not be functional at the same time. If this occurs please apologize for the inconveniences and see if they would like another beverage. The scope of the visit will include: Remove Hi-C Orange from all dispensers Installation of Fanta Orange on all dispensers that will accommodate the conversion Ensure that all Fanta Orange valves are set to the McDonald s Gold Standard Dispose of opened cases of Hi-C Orange at the store Survey the beverage infrastructure for any potential upcoming additions McDonald s has requested that Coca-Cola dispose of the open BIB s of Hi-C Orange in the restaurant dumpster. If opened Hi-C Orange inventory is not removed, there is the possibility that customers might inadvertently receive a product that does not meet McDonald s Gold Standard Quality in their visit. 3 ABS Configuration Instructions for Fanta Orange FOR STORE MANAGER USE Important: Perform these steps immediately after the Fanta Orange Drink product has been added in the ABS Version 2.0 Revised: 26 May 2017

4 Follow the below instructions to select and apply Fanta Orange to the ABS settings. Ensure this work is done immediately following the installation of the Fanta Orange drink by the installer. Step Action Graphics / Notes 1.1 Access Manager Configuration Tool SP7: *If store is SP8, proceed to section 1.2. If Manager Configuration Tool is only accessed through the Start menu of Windows Server is on Server 2003 SP7 The Manager Configuration Tool is accessible to all users via the Start Menu on the BOS/ISP, under Start > All Programs > Manager Config Tool 1.2 Accessing Manager Configuration Tool SP8: The Manager Configuration Tool is accessible through a short cut icon on the desktop or through the Programs folder on the desktop SP8

6 3 Selecting & Applying the Fanta Orange flavor in the ABS From the ABS settings of the Manager Configuration Tool, select the Fanta Orange flavor from the drop down list of the Flavor number that corresponds to the same Flavor number on the ABS of that flavor Image below is an example selecting the Fanta Orange Flavor under Flavor 6 corresponding to Flavor #6 in the ABS machine in place of the Hi-C Orange flavor 4 After the selection has been made, Select Apply 5 Once Apply is clicked, a confirmation displays, listing all settings which were changed. Proceed by clicking OK. 6 A warning that the changes will take effect at the next store open.. Click OK and the application will close.
