7 Installation Guide 1. Introduction 1 Introduction For the purposes of this document, it is assumed that Windows Failover Cluster role has been already installed and set up on at least two nodes. For clarity, the document refers to the nodes of the failover cluster as Node 1 and Node 2. It is also assumed that the SAN based disk required for the SmartTAP Database is available and seen (but not yet configured) by all nodes of the cluster. This guide is written for the following configuration: Microsoft Lync /Skype for Business installation with the Media Proxy option. If Media Proxy is not required, it should be deselected while installing SmartTAP and the related documentation ignored. All nodes in the failover cluster should have access to the entire SmartTAP suite installation files, either remotely or locally. When installing the Windows Failover Cluster role, an IP address is required for cluster management. This IP address is not used by the SmartTAP system, and can be chosen arbitrarily by the customer. Note: We configure a different IP address resource for our SmartTAP Cluster Role. 9 Installation Guide 2. SmartTAP Installation 2 SmartTAP Installation 2.1 Prerequisites Clustered SmartTAP installation requires a SAN shared disk, or shared virtual disk, depending on environment. This section assumes that you have brought the disk online and it is seen by the node(s). If separate disks are present for Quorum (i.e., Disk Witness) and for data, the Data drive is the one we wish to use. For the purposes of this document, it is assumed that the drive letter for the shared SmartTAP disk is X:, but that is entirely arbitrary (it might be different). Figure 2-1: Failover Cluster Manager The SmartTAP software installation files must be available remotely on the network, or be copied to the node which owns the database shared disk; for this tutorial, we shall assume this is Node Creating a Cluster Role The procedure below describes how to create a Cluster Role and attach an IP address and disk(s) to a SmartTAP application role. To create a cluster role: 1. In the Failover Cluster Manager, right-click on Roles, and then select Create Empty Role. Figure 2-2: Create Empty Role Version SmartTAP

10 Windows Failover Cluster 2. Right-click on the newly created New Role, and then select Properties. 3. Rename the role, and then select the nodes available to it. 4. From the 'Priority' drop-down list, select High. Figure 2-3: New Role Properties 5. If there is a preferred node for running the application, click the Failover tab. Figure 2-4: Allow Fallback 6. Click the Allow Failback option. This will return the application back to the node/owner with higher priority (defined in previous step). 7. Click OK. Installation Guide 10 Document #: LTRT-27320

15 Installation Guide 3. Using the SmartTAP Installation Wizard 3 Using the SmartTAP Installation Wizard The procedure below describes how to use the SmartTAP Suite Installation Wizard. This procedure includes: Installing and configuring Database Server Installing and configuring Application Server Installing and configuring Communication Server Installing and configuring Call Deliver-IP Installing and configuring Media Server Installing and configuring Media-Proxy (if applicable) Note: The Local Node IP refers to the static address of the current Cluster Node. To use the SmartTAP Installation Wizard on Node 1: 1. Double-click on the Suite installer, and then click Next. Figure 3-1: SmartTAP Recorder Version SmartTAP

Change MySql Data from the default C: drive to your clustered disk drive (i.e., X:). 22. Disable the MySql Proxy feature installation, and then click Next. 23. Click Install. 26 Windows Failover Cluster 25. From the 'Network Type' drop-down list, select the appropriate Network Type, (for the purpose of this document we shall use Microsoft Lync) and then click Next. Figure 3-22: Custom Setup 26. Add all Skype server Front-end IP addresses to the list, and then in the Public Call Delivery IP Address field, enter the local node IP. From the 'Recording Type' drop-down list, select the appropriate Recording Type, (for the purpose of this document we shall use Media Proxy) and then click Next. Figure 3-24: Choose Recording Mode 28. In the Media Proxy IP Address field, enter the Cluster Role (shared) IP address*. 29. Add it to the IP Addresses list, and then click Next. If Media Proxy is on a different machine (outside the cluster), enter its IP address here. If no Media Proxy is used, leave the field empty and proceed. 28 Windows Failover Cluster 30. If the Microsoft Lync Edge configuration is used, enter the Edge IP addresses. Otherwise, leave these fields empty, and then click Next. In the Media Server installation, check that the Monitoring IP is set to the local node IP address. Figure 3-29: Media Server Configuration 34. Click Next, and then finish the installation. From the 'Application Server IP address' drop-down list, select the Application Server IP address. Make sure you use the local node IP address. 37. Click Next. Figure 3-31: Media-Proxy IP Address 38. Add managed devices to the installation, as instructed in the SmartTAP Installation Guide. Note: Step 40 is for SmartTAP Version and earlier. It is not required for SmartTAP Version 4.2 and later. 41. Change the Media Location configuration to point to the shared disk in the SmartTAP Application Role. Refer to the SmartTAP Administration Guide for more information. Version SmartTAP

SmartTAP Cluster Role Configuration 4 SmartTAP Cluster Role Configuration The procedure below describes how to configure the SmartTAP Application role created at the beginning of this document, adding various components to the resource list and configuring them. To configure the SmartTAP Cluster Role: 1. On Node1 (where you installed the database) run the Failover Cluster Manager (Start > enter "Cluadmin.msc" in the search box > Enter). 2. Right click on the role, and then select Add Resource > Generic Service. Figure 4-1: Failover Cluster Manager 3. Select AudioCodes AS from the list, and then click Next. 34 Windows Failover Cluster 5. Repeat Steps 2-4 for every SmartTAP service: AudioCodes CS, CD-IP, HM, MP, MS, MS-TR and MySQL. After this has been completed, the resource list should look like the following: Figure 4-3: SmartTAP Recorder 6. The newly added services/resources are Offline, and should remain so for now. 7. Right-click on the MySQL resource, and select Properties > Dependencies. 8. Move the created SmartTAP Role to Node 2 (Right-click Role > Move > Select Node). 13. Launch Setup.exe of SmartTAP suite on Node Repeat the SmartTAP Installation for Node 2. 37 Installation Guide 5. Target List Configuration 5 Target List Configuration The procedure below describes the Target List Configuration. Note: This must be performed on each node. To configure the Target List: 1. Add the following line to the calldeliveryconfig.xml configuration file - file path to clustered targetlist.xml: (we use X: as [shared] clustered data volume) <targetlistfilename>x:\targetlist.xml</targetlistfilename> 2. If the TargetList.xml file has already been created, move (not copy) ) targetlist.xml from the default CD-IP folder, to the above specified cluster location. 3. Restart the CD-IP service to apply changes. 4. You can now start the Role and wait for all resources to come online. Version SmartTAP

39 Installation Guide 6. Plugin Installation 6 Plugin Installation The procedure below describes how to install plugins. Notes:. Plugin installation setup is only available on Microsoft Lync/Skype Front-End servers. 'Role IP' refers to the static address from the Prerequisite section. 1.
