3 and the necessity of this course. Web technology have many fields, and one of these fields is a web page, this course will focus on how to create and deal with web pages using the HTML language, so that makes the student learn the nature of the language and how to deal with its components, and everything related to the design. In addition, this course will also cover applications that deal with HTML, including JavaScript, PHP, Mysql and the concept of the Web Server. 4 11.Course objectives: In two or three constructive paragraphs mention the aims of the course and the main point s students should have learned by the end of the course. The course will cover the basics of design and good logical techniques, to create and make a web page that displays efficiently, regardless of any of the browsers that can be used to display the page. Students in this course must learn all of the following: 1. Learn basic HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) and how it is used to create Web Pages. 2. Understand how to use HTML tags, tag attributes and values to control a Web page s appearance. 3. Understand and successfully create web page to display correctly. 4. Understand the Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) to style a Web page. 5. Use HTML code to create lists and tables. 6. Understand and learning the JavaScript and how to placing it in HTML. 7. Understand and learning the PHP, MySql and Web Server concepts. 12.Student s obligation ATTENDANCE: Students are responsible for all material covered in class, whether or not they choose to attend. Any student missed more than 15% of the lectures will enable to pass the course. The student has 10 minutes permission in the lecture of 8:30 to be late. In multimedia Labs should be done at the regularly scheduled time unless other arrangements are made with the instructor. HOMEWORK: Homework will be assigned regularly and may be collected for grading. Homework solutions should show all work neatly, regardless of the level of difficulty. Students are encouraged to work together, however; solutions should reflect individuality. There is a 15% deduction per day late on all collected homework assignments. TESTS: Evaluations will be given that emphasize concepts and problem-solving techniques developed in class and in the homework assignments. No make-up tests will be given without a valid excuse. 13.Forms of teaching Forms of teaching: data show with power point presentation, white board with suitable pen, and hard copy of lecture. 5 14.Assessment scheme The course exam is divided on two semesters. Course is graded on the basis of answers to exam questions. Very good grade is obtained when exam questions are correctly answered and exercises are done. The exam duration normally about 2 hours and the number of questions are 4 to 5 questions. The marks are equally distributed on each question. The question style consists of comprehensive, computation and multiple choices.
