The ACR89U-A2 Handheld Smart Card Reader with NFC tag supprt is primarily designed fr multi-applicatin that can access any cntact and cntactless smart cards fllwing the ISO 7816 and ISO standards. ACR89U-A2 is a versatile dual interface smart card reader with PIN-pad which can be used t access ISO 7816 MCU cards, ISO Type A and B cntactless cards, Mifare, FeliCa and ISO r NFC tags. It can perate in bth ffice and field-based envirnments by using it n PC-linked and standalne mdes, respectively. It cmes with a built-in keypad, LCD, rechargeable battery and large prgrammable memry features. It is reliable reader that can supprt the rigrus perfrmance requirements f highly demanding smart card applicatins, thugh perates under lw energy cnsumptin. ACR89U-A2 als supprts Secure PIN Entry (SPE) which allws users t securely input data such as PIN, thrugh the device s PIN-pad. This security measure prevents PINs frm getting expsed t a security vulnerable PC s r wrkstatin and successfully eliminates the pssibility f Virus/Trjan r USB Sniffer getting hld f them.
